This place is exceptional for a basic hotel. Super clean rooms with nice lighting, Dove products in the shower, a pancake, making machine at breakfast that I think became a core memory for my kids. Just a perfect stay if you need to go to the Tijuana airport in the morning. You won’t be sorry!

Survived the fog, stayed for the turkey patties, and fell in love with a coffee machine. I rolled into this hotel at midnight after surviving the foggiest, scariest drive of my life—complete with two near-accidents. I was ready to collapse, but the hotel had other plans. The Best Part (The Breakfast): I’m usually a "one meal a day" guy, but this buffet made me break all my rules. I don’t know if it’s the "last exit before Mexico" magic, but the scrambled eggs and turkey patties were elite. But the real MVP? The coffee. Instead of that sad, overcooked, burnt sludge you find at most hotels, they have a machine that freshly grinds and brews beans for every single cup. I actually took a photo of it in action! It should be mandatory for every hotel on earth to have one of these. I went back for seconds on everything. The Rooms: Clean, quiet, and in order. No complaints once I finally got inside. The Not-So-Good: Checking in was a midnight marathon. One staff member vs. a huge crowd meant I was standing there for an hour. After a high-stress drive, that was pure torture. Also, the elevators and carpets are definitely feeling "vintage" and are due for a renovation. Verdict: If you can survive the midnight check-in line, the bean-to-cup coffee and turkey patties are your hard-earned reward!
