If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience on Dec 31, 2025, New Year's Eve, was the worst hotel stay in the US.
1. Deceptive Practices: I booked a King room. They gave me a Double room without telling me. I only found out when I opened the door.
2. Horrible Service: When I confronted the front desk, Miguel was helpless. He refused to explain or call a manager and offered no solution for ruining our New Year's Eve. “Just no king bed for you tonight, you can call a manager tomorrow morning but not now”.
3. Hostility: The other staff member, Kamron, told me to "stay or leave" when I came down and asked for a solution. Who talks to a guest like that?
The attitude from Miguel and Kamron was not just "bad service"—it was personal and aggressive. It felt like they were targeting me specifically, and the dismissive, superior tone they used made me strongly suspect racial discrimination. I felt completely unwelcome and disrespected.
Avoid this place at all costs if you expect to be treated with human decency.

They charge $40/night for parking and don’t tell you that until you’ve already booked your room and are at the property. They also make you sign up for their honors program to use their WiFi that they have advertised as “free”. You can get a 7 day free trial and then start paying daily to use WiFi.
Scummy, penny-pinching business practices. Will not be coming here again.

I have stayed at this Hilton several times over the past year and appreciate housekeeping for providing a clean room with fresh towels and bedding.
The front desk staff is great. They have always been gracious and accommodating when I sometimes pay with the wrong card or if I request an upgrade with a list of preferences.
I've noticed a lot of hotels in California are older than other parts of the country and I'm not sure why but expectations should be managed. Some rooms do show their age a little but they are still clean and comfortable.
If you're mobile you can park under the hotel for a fee or utilize the street parking which I feel is a little bit of a gamble.
I have not been impressed with the onsite restaurant but have seen many people hanging out in the bar at night.

I’m a Hilton Honors member and generally enjoy staying at Hilton properties. Some locations are starting to feel a bit dated, and this one is no exception, but the outstanding staff truly made the difference during our stay.
Amina at the front desk was top-notch during check-in—warm, efficient, and professional. Abair at the bar was also wonderful: kind, attentive, and very accommodating.
We stayed for two nights. Our first room was on the freeway side, which was quite loud, but Blanca went above and beyond to help us move to a quieter room. She even had the new keys delivered directly to us. The level of service from the entire team was excellent.
The Snack Shack is essentially nonexistent, and breakfast is very expensive, so we chose to eat elsewhere or use Instacart.
Overall, the rooms are comfortable and the beds are great, but the amazing staff is what truly stands out.
