For the price of the hotel, I was expecting much better amenities and service. The room was not very clean, very little towels/toilet paper available, our room service button did not work, there was no smart TV available for streaming services (and the cable channels were extremely limited), and the in-hotel dining/room service prices were extremely expensive and very limited in the amount of items offered. For the price of the stay, I thought there would be a lot higher service and amenities already included in the original bill. The positive aspects were it was very close to the airport, had a free shuttle to/from the airport, and is located on a relatively quiet harbor that has a nice walking path. Overall though, I probably would not recommend staying here and looking elsewhere in the area.

Best airport hotel I've stayed in yet
Although it was built back in the 70's, it feels brand new

I came for a work conference a week ago and I checked in on Monday night around 930. The front receptionist was this Asian girl, slim figure with glasses. I told her I had a reservation my job made and she asked me if I was a Hilton reward member I said no or at least I don’t think so. She took my number down and she said “yes it’s under (mentions Maiden Name)” I go “oh okay then yeah but that’s my maiden name. She literally THROWS my room key from the other side of the podium that she’s standing on, not even hand it to me in my hand or in front of me. Whatever, I left. Fast forward the next day at night I left my room key in my room so I said no problem let me go to the front desk. The guy asked for my last name and I give it to him he said he can’t find it and mentions my maiden name and I go “….are you serious?” THE FREAKING RECEPTIONIST CHANGED MY RESERVATION NAME TO MY MAIDEN NAME THAT I LEGALLY NO LONGER GO AS OR IDENTIFY AS AND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. The guy starts asking if I have any identification with my maiden name or a credit card and I go “NO! I don’t go by that last name anymore” he gives me another key and changed my last name to what was reserved as. My god. I contacted the Hotel and have not gotten a response back so it’s a review now.

Luis was the only staff I interacted with and he was great. Friendly and welcoming. Probably needs a raise. Over all the stay was not bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting from Hilton. Everyone raves about the view; my view from Room 408 was of the pool, the parking lot and the dumpsters. I was there for business, not for the view, so this was not a big deal to me. The uncomfortable bed was a big deal. Didn't sleep well any of the five days I was there. Woke up with a sore back each morning. If you're used to a continental breakfast in the lobby, you will be disappointed. You can go to the restaurant located in the hotel if you want to pay $27 for bacon, eggs, and potatoes. I passed on this option. No microwave in the room, so keep that in mind if you're prepping in-room meals. The shower/ tub combo was narrow with a soap dish mounted right at elbow height. Be carful when turning around in the shower or your stuff ends up in the bottom of the tub or you find your funny bone with it. Overall the room was clean and quiet; especially considering its proximity to the airport. The curtesy airport van was convenient getting to and from the airport.
