Located on the scenic waterfront of Harbor Island, just minutes from downtown San Diego and San Diego International Airport/Lindbergh Field, the only thing the hotel overlooks is the marina. With 211 guest rooms, we are able to meet the needs of all travelers, families and groups at Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island.
Offering a resort-like setting with spectacular views and friendly service, we are in an unbeatable location with easy access to freeways and southern California's most popular destinations: SeaWorld, Balboa Park, world famous San Diego Zoo and San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
Our well-appointed guest rooms feature Hilton Serenity beds with down duvets and have balconies overlooking the bay, marina and San Diego skyline. Other amenities include premium bath products, WiFi, on command television and entertainment with video check-out, and a copy of USA Today each weekday morning.
We are home to Panorama Bar & Grill, featuring modern American cuisine at its very finest and providing sweeping views of the marina. Enjoy Happy Hour daily from 3pm-6pm in the adjacent lounge, and live music on Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm -10 pm featuring some of San Diego’s finest musicians. Banquet and private dining options are also available.
Recreational amenities at Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island include a fully equipped 24-hour fitness center, outdoor heated pool and whirlpool spa. Take one of our complimentary bicycles out for a spin or rent a sailboat nearby and explore the bay. No welcome drink(s), no free breakfast, etc. The front counter folks and one bell hop are the only service people we interacted with and they were kind and attentive and seemed to know what they were doing. I felt like if I were a true tourist I could count on them to give me good advice. As far as the location goes... I mean, ca'mon. Right on the bay with a view of the Cabrillo Light House all the way to the Downtown skyline, the Coronado Bridge and beyond. You cannot beat that.

Rooms all seem to have a nice balcony. Small but sufficient. The halls are kind of wonky as the architect tried to focus on maximizing rooms with a view. But who stays in the halls anyway.

From the warm welcome to their attentive service, we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The views were beautiful and added so much to our trip. We’d highly recommend this hotel to friends and family and would definitely stay again! The bathroom can use a little updating but overall, great place to stay.
