Been here before. Love the location for its closeness to so many venues. Did NOT appreciate the drunk dudes at 2:23 a.m. in the parking lot beneath my window! Get that the Dodhers won, but inexcusable that the front desk didn't deal with it!!

I enjoy Hilton. I'm a business traveler and a Hilton Honors member.
Hilton facilities are luxurious. Clean. Quiet. Safe. This particular venue has the charming theme of fashion runway. There is also an excellent restaurant inside. Coffee, breakfast, and staff were exemplary.
That said, my room (gorgeous view, clean, modern) had 2 negative elements, one quite serious.
First, there is a lot of light seepage from under the door and multiple illuminated night-light fixtures, makes for no-darkness sleeping.
The most significant issue was a non-operating thermostat stuck full blast blowing cold air directly onto the bed. I had been at a presentation late and wasn't in my room until late at night and was too exhausted to try and change rooms (re-pack, go to concierge, move, unpack...) I should have had an operating room to start.
I put on layers of my day clothes under the sheets but still froze and did not sleep well. There was no extra blanket.
Another significant issue was when I returned late, there were a lot of cars and happy people partying outside. Strong marijuana in the air as I waited for valet. That was ok but in the morning, my hall was reeking of Marijuana- like very very strong.
I understand Marijuana is legal and many users are considerate. However, I prefer a non smoking premise for a variety of reasons. Not just Marijuana also cigarettes.
I have the impression that this particular Hilton might be popular with a hip crowd. The people partying were lovely to me as I waited outside and they were all well dressed and enjoying a fine evening.
I will probably find another luxury hotel with a swimming pool when I come here next.

Nice and small hotel in the Torrey Pines area. Lobby is nice.
The beds are comfortable. TV remote was challenging. It’s a modern tv & remote which you can operate from your phone.
The room has microwave, mini fridge and a coffee maker. Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/lotion are provided.
The rooms need updating. They are older and BROWN. Lighten up the carpet, walls & drapes. It’s dreary now.
Staff were nice they switched our room because it was dark. Our upgrade to a patio was facing a wall. they could have told us that breakfast was served at the hotel behind this hotel. We missed the complementary breakfast. Or put a note in the room.
The pool/spa area were nice.
