    Had a guest reservation to pick up at this location, and as i was waiting needed to use the restroom realquick at first floor. As I was walking, this myopic general manager named Will, literally walked from front desk to stop me and tell me restrooms are only for guests and it's private property. I totally understand i am not officially your guest, but i am providing service to your real guests, and using your restroom while they walking down has NEVER been an issue in hundreds of other hotels in have picked up or dropped off. This is the unicorn, Will the myopic will make sure to stop you no mater how bad you have to go. Had to cancel and go find an other premise to use the restroom. Very sorry, the real guest for the inconvenience but couldn't pick you up because of myopic Willie 👎

    Front desk staff demand a $100 'incidentals' charge - when there are no incidentals if you don't have a car in their car park. There is no mini bar, no food, nothing, so what is the 'incidentals' charge? Then after questioning they say 'oh its a security charge' and it sits on your card for 2 to 4 days. Later I checked their reviews and this place has a lot of problems. For a 3 star airport hotel that you just stay for 1 night to sleep, this $100 incidentals charge was unnecessary. At our next hotel in Hawaii they simply require a valid card - but don't charge you any $.

    The service I got from the Spanish man with braces I belive who works the night shift feb9-10 was excellent. The system was down but he was super calm and still checked me in after a few minutes by just getting me in the room and doing my info later. 530 am no breakfast was out so he got me a goody breakfast bag. Super polite with excellent service give him a raise. Willl stay here again 👍🏽

    A very nice hotel in a really good spot, close to everything without having to pay the ridiculous costs. There's plenty of parking, lots of stuff within walking distance, and a short drive to the Gaslamp quarter and Little Italy. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the staff is very hospitable. Free continental breakfast is always a plus!

    New or recently renovated, ask for an even number room faces the bay, quiet also. Only issue is the pillows are made of air and offer little to no support. Other than that typical Hampton Inn experience, with a New modern vibe.
