Parking is horrible and you get charged 25.00 day to do it. Which was not disclosed to our travel agent. The check in clerk announced my room number out loud and when i requested a different room said i could but it would be a downgrade. She also gave the wrong directions to room so we went to the wrong side of the hotel. She did not give us our water and we had to come back. The breakfast was decent. The room was clean.

I'm very much enjoy this hotel. The front desk staff is not play to me when I checked in. I understand they regarded because I was there with a high profile guest. But they did not need to be rude to me all day to do is look at the room number and see that my name was on it. There was no need to verify his information just mine. 2014 he had to walk out in his pajamas to find me. When he is 100 Gold Star members and he spends a lot of money with ths hotel. When I came in the lady asked if she could help me I told her who I was with. I wasn't even thinking of the fact that they can't give his name out or acknowledge he's there cuz he is just a friend from high school Superman I forgot his status there then when he came out and said my name lake Mary told me I could go ahead and proceed as if I didn't deserve permission. They had my name on the road so I can get a key and everything set living room number and look for my name if he's there or not. Send message to The Hamptons when having a celebrity guest of course it is important to protect the celebrity. But it is also important to be nice to the celebrities guest if they have one

The newly renovated rooms feel fresh, modern, and thoughtfully updated. Everything feels clean and comfortable, with a layout that works well whether you’re there to relax or get a bit of work done.
The fitness center is a nice bonus — well maintained and equipped enough to get a solid workout in without having to leave the property.
The location is extremely convenient, especially for business travelers. You have food options, bars, and shopping all within easy reach, plus quick access to the airport. It makes scheduling meetings, grabbing dinner, or catching an early flight simple and stress-free. Overall, a very practical and comfortable choice for work trips.

Hey there travelers! I grabbed a one night stay here before my flight. It was a good choice.
Very clean, nice big lobby with lots of seating and welcoming space.
Staff very welcoming and professional. Mallory texted me after my arrival to make sure everything was good.
Beds were comfy, bathroom spacious.
12 minute drive to airport and close to lots of attractions too.
Only draw back is the slightly shady area that looks to be gentrifying.
Well done, Hampton 👍🏼

Decided to book an overnight stay at this location because it’s near all the spots you’d want to visit: Old Town San Diego, Downtown, Point Loma, La Jolla etc. but also because it’s recently renovated and has free breakfast.
I did an online check in. The phone app allows you to check in/out, control the television (good for germaphobes like me who don’t want to touch the remote control), and it has the digital key to enter side doors and rooms. Parking lot is a bit of a tight space with one entry gate going in and out. There’s plenty of people that don’t know how to park so be cautious. I just decided to park farther with more space around me. A downside is you have to notify front desk that you have a parked car, they give you a parking pass, then you have to return to your car and hang it on your rear view mirror. The area didn’t feel too safe so I wouldn’t say it’s walkable once the sun sets. Also the downside of parking your car farther away.
Staff are friendly. Since this place was recently renovated it’s very clean. All the furniture and bedding are still new. The lobby is very open and bright. Overall the place is very inviting and doesn’t have an unusual smell. I’m so glad to say their wall mounted air conditioning is not noisy. There’s a bit of noise you can hear if you’re on the first floor such as doors and footsteps from the second floor. I do wish their hot water was hotter. I’d recommend staying at this place for now. I hope they can maintain its cleanliness and overall good repair of furniture.
There’s a Raising Canes directly in front of the hotel that is walkable. Les Girls strip club with large Nude sign also across in the corner that you don’t see on maps. Just an FYI for those with kids.
