The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good. The location of the hotel is right next to the airport and the train, so you will hear those sounds frequently- keep this in mind when booking if you are a light sleeper!
The hotel is currently doing construction on the elevators, so only one is in service. This caused some chaos in the mornings, the elevator was way over capacity, and I felt really unsafe going on it. When I told front desk about this and asked where the stairs were, they told me this hotel has no stair access.. seems very dangerous to me, I definitely would have rather used the stairs during our stay.
The parking lot is also very limited because a lot of it is used for construction, so keep this in mind as well.

Under construction, no mention of that. Parking garage is full of construction materials and very tight @ $40 a night. Breakfast wasn’t bad- that’s a plus. Location is great!

Rooms are very basic with old furnitures. Very difficult to sleep due to inside and outside noise. Room’s noise insulation is very poor. Breakfast has also very poor quality. Elevator is very slow.
Location is very good and easy access to harbor.

The hotel is decent but not the best from most Hampton inns I go to. I saw the reviews about the train and thought it wouldn’t be that bad but it definitely was. I was awaken by the train bells at 5:21Am and seems like non stop after that.i would definitely stray away from this location if you are sensitive to sounds. I hope the hotel updates the windows with the recent renovations. Also think the forty bucks for parking was high but the room was priced well for the walk ability of the area. They do not give you any diamond perks like the other hotels with snacks.

So let me start by saying the staff are all amazing. Front desk, security, and maintenance were all professional, friendly, and helpful
As others said, if you are in any room but the very front street facing rooms - you will hear the train tracks 24/7. The hotel needs to invest in better soundproofing and new windows. The rooms themselves seem to be updated and are online with what you'd expect at a Hampton. No complaints with the room itself. Has air conditioning, was clean etc
The price is good for the location which is completely walkable from the entire old downtown.
Hotel just needs some updating in the public spaces.
