One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in lately with excellent customer service. Damian, at front desk check in was amazing! So friendly, fun, caring and professional. Check in was a breeze! Hot cookies were a wonderful surprise too! Room was large, bed was comfy and awesome comfy supportive pillows. Somehow many hotels have lost the GOOD PILLOW service NOT this hotel. I had such a good night sleep!! Very clean throughout and several amenities available. We stayed in building 5. Quite a walk with luggage from lobby area and nowhere to park nearby to drop off luggage. There could have been a better way or golf cart to help get to rooms at furthest building. We arrived late in the evening. Pickup at San Diego airport was a bit slow and the hotel shuttle too small with not enough room for luggage. Several folks were left behind to wait for shuttle to return. Also, the hotel confirmation email and descriptions online did not mention you must call the hotel for shuttle pickup. I'm wondering if everyone waiting for the shuttle with us had called??? And there is no system to verify who called first?? I'm wondering if those left behind had called at all or had called earlier than those waiting. There may have been 12-15 people with luggage waiting for shuttle to arrive. Better system, bigger shuttle or second shuttle may have helped. Other than that, hotel was great!! Shuttle driver was so nice and helpful to all on a busy Friday night in San Diego!! Definitely recommended!! Looking forward to staying again!! And BTW several restaurants nearby, across the street at harbor. Really good Dennys within walking distance too (we arrived late night so not much else open) No microwave in rooms, disappointing as I travel with my neck/back therapy items. Stayed in late January 2026

Poor customer service and lack of follow-up. I was told at check-in that I’d receive food and beverage credits after both guests presented ID, which we did, but the credits were never given. I reached out and was told a manager would contact me, which never happened. The experience left me feeling unfairly treated and racially profiled. Very disappointing.

Affordable stay with a great location near the airport and with convenient access to major roadways. We were upgraded to the renovated rooms. They were decent and the beds were comfortable. If youd prefer to spend your money exploring San Diego rather than paying more for a room I highly recommend.

Very poor experience.
I was charged for breakfast despite my reservation already including it, and this was done without my consent.
The staff were unhelpful, management was indifferent, and I was repeatedly told someone would follow up — no one ever did. Even emailing the manager resulted in no response.
A hotel should be a place to relax, not a source of stress that ruins your stay.
I would not recommend this property.
