I was surprised at check in with a $100 security deposit. I don't object to a deposit I do object to no transparency about it BEFORE the reservation is booked. Luggage carts were missing at check-in. No in room refrigerator any more. ;(
- LDLoretta DivineOct 31, 20254.0Older hotel that has been well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not all rooms have a microwave and mini-fridge. There is a grocery store nearby, several restaurants and cafes within a half mile. The thing we enjoyed the most is that the hotel is right by the Hazard Station for the MTS trolley. The trolley is rather inexpensive ($6 for a day pass) and takes you to most points of interest in San Diego. I would stay here again if it wasn't too expensive.
