  This hotel was such a disappointment. Towels in the bathroom were dirty, A.C monitor kept clicking all night and during the day of our checkout early in the morning, the fire alarm had came on twice which woke us up out of our sleep. I spoke to the front desk staff named Eddison about the situation and he didnt have any sympathy about the situation. He poorly demonstrated customer recovery and I also needed my keys remade since my checkout time was near, as I got to my room, again the keys didnt work. Eddison didn't remake the keys properly which prompted me to call the front desk, again no apology given. This was the worse experience I had so far at a hotel. Do not stay here it is TERRIBLE

  Ok as others before, I was hesitant to stay here but I was pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy but when we got to our first room it was really clean and I would have been happy to stay there but it reeked of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk and they were so accommodating to tranfer us to a room a couple doors down and offered us a couple drink tickets for the inconvenience. After thst no hiccups. The room and sheets were pristine, no weird stains or smells in the second room. For the value, the price is there. I do like how it feels like you are on your own little island. I am not fond of the location as it is right next to freeway and motel 6 but other than that, I had a pleasant stay.

  Good points - Comfy bed, spotless clean room and bathroom, good balcony and pool view. Clean heated pool with many sun loungers and towels. Polite friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast included. Good Wi-Fi throughout room and hotel. 15 mins from airport, 20 from Mission Beach, 30 from Jajolla. Bad points - Aweful coffee in the room. No restaurant open during the day for lunch. No coffee available during the day! Large amount of traffic noise at pool and balcony as hotel is next to a fast moving busy freeway! If you have a complaint, make sure you follow it up the following day with a different member of staff to check that it is being dealt with.

  This was my first time here so I can't provide the best feedback over those who can so my review will sound generic, but from the night I was here for my experience it was excellent. There's a pool, gym, restaurant, mini store and a koi pond in the middle of the hotel where the elevators are. Rooms are great as well as the service. This is a place I highly recommend for anyone traveling on business, on vacation or just need a room for the night.

  A Costly and Disappointing Stay ​For the price, you'd be better off at a Motel 6. This establishment feels like it would charge for the very air you breathe if it could—be prepared to pay for everything on top of everything. ​Excessive Fees: A money-grabbing philosophy, highlighted by the outrageous $25 daily parking fee. ​Poor Amenities: The advertised hot tub isn't hot, which defeats its purpose. ​Unpleasant Facilities: The bathroom lacks an exhaust fan, a basic standard that should be a given. ​As a professional who has worked in the hospitality industry, I absolutely wouldn't suggest this stay. There are definitely better places to stay for this price where guests aren't constantly nickel-and-dimed.
