- TSThomas S.5 days ago1.0This place is worst. I tried to book it & booked the wrong date. so, I went back & tried to change the date. It took 2 days just to get them trying to accommodate me. But their attitude... It's is something else. I swear I felt like I was trying to steal their money.. And I haven't even stay there yet. It was 3 days prior & they keep saying, I have to call back.. Next day, I called & what do you know ! It's less than allowed cancel / booking date ! OMG.. The tactic these people will come up with.. At the end I just cancel the payment from my bank. Hopefully, the bank will cancel.. I will NEVER stay here again.

- DLDavid LawrenceNov 16, 20251.0Came to see my nephew graduate from Marine bootcamp. Location is okay otherwise rooms terrible. Smells like mold, and dirty. Not exaggerating they havent updated the rooms for decades. The shuttle driver is rude. I ended up taking Ubers to the graduation otherwise he would just drop us off by a bridge next to the PCH. Anybody reading this spend a few extra bucks and stay downtown San Diego!!

Super close to the base, only a 5 or 10 min shuttle ride, witch was provided for both Family Day and Graduation. All the staff was very friendly and easy to interact with. Tons of places to eat and sights to see in very close walking distance of the hotel. If your looking for a place to stay for your tip, look no further. Highly recommend the Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel Old Town. Thank you all for a great stay.
- LLLuckyladyNov 5, 20251.0Unfortunately, my stay this time was horrible. I previously stayed back in May of this year, the service , staff, and manager Terri were great and accommodating. I expressed that I was looking for a venue for my daughter’s wedding next year and the manager helped me book a reservation for October of this year to really check out the property. Fast forward to October and it’s like the company is doing everything in its power to sink. I booked two rooms one for myself and one for my elderly parents. We booked a room apparently that was the furthest from the lobby. My parents and I asked to move closer to the front and was met with the most hostile manager I’ve ever come across. She would not even think about moving the room without attaching a dollar to it. Even though the hotel was not completely booked. I booked with the Hilton to see if we could host my daughter’s wedding there. Not sure about the staff changes for this company but basic hospitality needs to be a requirement.
