I paid 332 dollars for two nights. Plus 26 dollars per night for parking. Hotel is in a nice and safe area and around 15 mins max from all tourists attractions. Free breakfast is included in the stay which was nice and hot with many options. Staff was nice and hotel was nice too

The customer service is fairly pleasant. Every now and then you'll get a disinterested employee on their phone while Manning the front desk. The rooms are decent enough. After walking around with bare feet, you can definitely see some dirt but that's to be expected. The pillows are definitely my least favorite thing. They are way too thin. My only other complaint is that first thing in the mornings, there seems to be a lack of hot water. I don't know if it's just the room that I got or what, but there have been a few times where the best I've been able to eke out is barely above room-temperature shower. The location is fine but there is nothing walking distance from the hotel, except for The Remy. If you have kiddos that insist on McDonald's or some other fast food to be prepared to call a Lyft or Doordash.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at the Best Western in San Diego near SeaWorld, and it was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The theme of embracing your inner child truly came to life during our stay, making it fun, joyful, and memorable for our whole family. We especially loved the hot tub, which was a great way to relax and unwind together. The rooms were incredibly spacious, spotless, and comfortable, giving us plenty of room to enjoy our time as a family. The staff was professional, welcoming, and kind, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality really elevated the experience. We’re so glad we chose this location and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for families, celebrations, and anyone visiting SeaWorld San Diego! 🌊✨

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay here again. The hotel advertises free breakfast every day, but this was completely unreliable. We stayed an entire week and breakfast was only available 3 out of 7 days, allegedly depending on whether they received a shipment. When breakfast was available, the area was filthy—dirty rags left out, food frequently missing, and the breakfast room often closed earlier than the posted hours. The staff and management were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. The front desk rarely answered the phone—it rang endlessly until disconnecting. When I raised concerns, I felt there was retaliation rather than any effort to resolve the issues. Management made excuses, and corporate was equally unresponsive. I was also never issued the reward points that were promised. The room itself smelled musty, and the elevator was broken about half the time, which was extremely inconvenient. I would have checked out early, but I was traveling with two young children, had prepaid for the stay, and was unable to secure another hotel on short notice. After filing a formal complaint, no resolution was offered—by management or corporate. Aside from the convenient location in San Diego, there is absolutely nothing positive I can say about this hotel. There are many better options nearby, and I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Pros: The front desk staff were all phenomenal and went far more above and beyond than they needed to. I was having a rotten time and they helped so much I was able to lock my luggage in a safe place while going out with my son instead of lugging it around. Breakfast was yummy and lots of options. (I wish there had been lids for the coffee cups) it satisfied my 2 year old. The room was large The curtains blocked out a sufficient amount of light to confuse my toddler as to what time it was so I could sleep in a bit. Cons: I was told all I had to pay was a $150 deposit but I was charged significantly more and I still need to fix it. The room wasn’t exactly clean. There was mold in the bathroom and hair in the shower and dusty walls. The room was also in disrepair but also some things were patched over not so well. Like the toilet roll holder was wildly loose and the grout was missing from the floor tile. There weren’t any amenities besides soap. It would have been nice to have lotion If you plan on using public transport to get around it isn’t in the most convenient location. It’s definitely more car friendly. On that note it was a bit confusing to navigate the parking and entrance area. It’s a weird building. Biggest takeaway was the friendly and accommodating front desk staff.
