  I had a great 1-night stay at this hotel. Despite arriving late at 10 PM, check-in was incredibly smooth. The staff was welcoming and quickly assigned me a clean, well-managed room that I was very happy with. The location is perfect—right by the I-5 with ample parking available. I especially appreciated the 24-hour coffee/tea service and the quick, convenient breakfast in the morning. The entire property is well-maintained and spotless. While the room prices felt a bit on the higher side, the overall experience was excellent due to the efficiency and quality of service. Highly recommended for a reliable and stress-free stay!

  Very clean and spacious rooms, overall nice and pleasant stay. The location is on the quiet street, but in direct proximity to highway, so some constant white noise is present. Hotel has a small heated pool, plenty of parking and is on the back end of a small plaza with a few lunch or dinner options (thai place, pizzeria). 10 min drive to San Clemente pier (via 25mph streets), or 6 min to the nearest beach. Breakfast is nice American type: pancakes, scrambled eggs or omelette, sausages, bacon, some freshly baked cinnamon buns, yougurt, juice, coffee, some pastries, bagels, fruit and coffee.

  From the moment we arrived at the entrance, we knew we were in for a treat. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and efficient; the front desk staff were professional, welcoming, and even offered us a complimentary room upgrade which was a fantastic surprise. Moving on to the room, it was spotlessly clean and featured a modern, sophisticated design. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with high-quality linens that made for a perfect night's sleep. One thing I particularly loved was the attention to detail—from the high-end bath products to the well-stocked minibar and the integrated smart room controls. The soundproofing was also top-notch, as we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms. The amenities were equally impressive. We spent some time at the fitness center, which was equipped with state-of-the-art machines, and the pool area felt like a private oasis. We also tried the on-site restaurant for dinner, and the meal was simply exquisite—fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. Every staff member we encountered was attentive and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. This is hands down one of the best stays I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!

  The room walls are paper thin. I could hear the people above and on either side of me moving in their bed throughout the night (meaning: the bed was shifting and the walls were so thin I could hear it!)

  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in San Clemente and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, (Thank you to Guzy!) and all the staff who were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuinely friendly. You can tell they take pride in making guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located for enjoying everything San Clemente has to offer. It’s just minutes from the beach, great restaurants, and the charming downtown area, which made it really easy to explore the area without having to travel far. Our suite was a huge win and such a great option for families. The extra space made a big difference, with a separate living area that gave everyone room to spread out and relax. Both the bedroom and living space had balconies attached, which was such a nice bonus for enjoying the coastal air. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were great, the amenities were thoughtful, and everything felt fresh and updated. Housekeeping clearly pays attention to the details. Another highlight was the complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning — it was top-notch. There were plenty of options, everything was fresh, and the outdoor seating made it even better. Coffee and breakfast in the sunshine? Hard to beat. One of the things that stood out most was how relaxed and welcoming the overall atmosphere felt. Whether you’re visiting for a quick beach trip, a family stay, or just passing through, it’s a place that makes you feel right at home. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back again. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with wonderful service in a great San Clemente location, this Holiday Inn is a fantastic choice.
