Unfortunately, after several automated replies and no real help from the hotel manager, I feel forced to make this public. We stayed at this hotel last month. At check-in, we were charged the wrong deposit amount. The front desk clearly states a deposit of 100 or 200 dollars depending on the card, yet we were charged 216 dollars. That can happen and, by itself, would not have been a major issue. What is far more serious is that in the middle of the night during our stay, the hotel charged 303 dollars to our credit card without any authorization. To this day, we do not know why this charge was made, and we have not received our money back. Both Best Western and the hotel itself have failed to offer a solution or properly investigate the case. The only response we received twice was a copy of the check-out statement, where the 303 dollars are not even listed. However, we have clear proof from our bank that this amount was charged by the hotel. It was not the nightly rate, which we had already paid before our stay. This lack of transparency and support is unacceptable. We stay at Best Western hotels very often and have always been satisfied. Something like this has never happened to us before, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Please be very careful when booking this hotel.

Average at best breakfast was jimmy dean sausage and egg muffin you microwave, and some waffles. This is a working persons community and its in the middle of farms so big you cannot see across them. You dont go here for vacation, but you could go to Monterey and pay 300 500 a night to start, there that to deal with.

It can be confusing with 2 competing BW hotels side by side. But there is no effort to differentiate or to lure customers. On the human side, the clerk avoided answering certain questions, like "any free room upgrade for Diamond Select member?" I figured out that myself, nope. Many "out of service" signs around. No USB ports in the room. Limited electrical outlets. It means outdated. Not for the Millennials. The best part is the hot tub with strong jet.
