Average at best breakfast was jimmy dean sausage and egg muffin you microwave, and some waffles. This is a working persons community and its in the middle of farms so big you cannot see across them. You dont go here for vacation, but you could go to Monterey and pay 300 500 a night to start, there that to deal with.

It can be confusing with 2 competing BW hotels side by side. But there is no effort to differentiate or to lure customers. On the human side, the clerk avoided answering certain questions, like "any free room upgrade for Diamond Select member?" I figured out that myself, nope. Many "out of service" signs around. No USB ports in the room. Limited electrical outlets. It means outdated. Not for the Millennials. The best part is the hot tub with strong jet.

We booked this hotel due to going to Salinas for my grandma's funeral. The first night in room 205 was absolutely miserable because the ac blew out warm air and wouldn't let us change anything on it. The next day I asked the front desk lady and she came up, turned it off, unplugged it and it started working....we left and came back and it was blowing warm again so I called the front desk and the lady said she was coming up, she never came. I called the front desk again the next morning and the lady came up and reset it again and told us if it happens again she would move us rooms and discount our 2 nights we stayed in that room. It happened again so she moved us. The next room was great, the ac worked, it even had higher water pressure. We never did get a discount and the two nights we stayed in that room were the most expensive nights.

Room 104. Modern and clean, a/c worked perfectly, big room.. the coffee maker is a joke.. I like my own coffee but your stuck using the pod style they provide. The bed is terrible and the shower has zero pressure. The staff was really nice.
