The Mission Inn is probably the most visually interesting hotel I’ve ever seen, both the interior and the exterior. The rooms are quite simple, and the walls are thin. But the beds are very comfortable, and there’s a lot more to see throughout the hotel. Take some time to explore or go on a tour if you have the time. The location is also excellent with numerous on-site and off-site dining options as well as some nearby convenience stores. Not to mention robust room service. You’ve also got all of Downtown Riverside’s best attractions all within walking distance, but the best of them all is probably the Mission Inn itself.

The customer service here is the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I was here for a business event, and several last minute issues came up. I needed multiple paper copies of documents in the middle of the night, they ran them for n/c. I had to borrow a stapler & take it off site for 15 hours, & had to store a generator w fuel overnight in a safe place. All the staff treated these things like they happen all the time. And n/c. And it’s a beautiful location. You will have a great experience here. Highly recommend staying here whether for business or leisure.

Frank Miller built a masterpiece; and visiting the Mission Inn is like stepping into a homage to early craftsmanship. The distinctive architectural styles of The Mission Inn make one arguably the most incredible hotel on the west coast. Whether you visit for their annual Festival of Lights, which turns downtown Riverside into a European Christmas market, or to lounge around their pool during the heat of summer; there is never a bad time to visit The Mission Inn. Housing age old antiquities collected during Frank Millers travels through Europe, the art, statues, furniture and architecture will surely leave an impression on you. It’s impossible to capture the essence of the Inn in such a short review; but believe this; a trip to the Mission Inn will not disappoint. With a variety of restaurants from Italian, to American to Mexican; there is something for everyone. A luxury spa and presidential bar offer a place to wind down, and a place to celebrate with friends or clients. Each room is unique, and after staying on every floor of this hotel, I can attest to the charm of this Historical hotel. The incredible staff is always helpful, and the amazing owners, Kelly Roberts and her late husband Duane Roberts, contribute to literal living California history; and I for one am grateful for their dedication to keeping the Mission Inn running for all to enjoy.
