  WiFi has been dismal. Tried on numerous devices numerous times. A clean and tidy hotel, just don’t expect usable WiFi here.

  This is pathetic hotel. We reached at 1:30 AM after a 7 hour drive, only to find out that the room was in a filthy poor condition - there was trash all around and the bed was never made. The front desk guy Jacob said he doesn't have any other room and can only refund, nothing else he could do. The manager never picked up the phone. I called IHG Hotels and complained. They registered a complaint and provided a case number. Night 2AM, with 3 kids, I was calling & driving to nearby hotels / motels, whatever place we could get to stay, spent an hour and half on the road to find a room to stay. Next day, I get a 'Thank you for staying email' and no refund or call from hotel / IHG A week after that - still no refund and no calls. When I called up the IHG, they had a very cold response and just hung up on me. If they can do this to a IHG Member, I don't know how they treat non members. How pathetic can the service be! I will never stay in Holiday Inn Express again. If there was a negative stars, I would have given 5 negative stars for this review.

  Wanting to visit Death Valley National Park, decided to stay in Ridgecrest 2 nites. My GF and I both have walking handicap issues needed a walk in shower, our room was clean, comfortable, the shower excellent. Breakfast was provided with a nice selection of food and drinks. On a personal note, while loading up the luggage carrier, Kimberly a staff member working housekeeping volunteered and took the carrier up to our room, very gracious of her. One drawback, one elevator was not working and also one lobby bathroom.

  I contemplated for a long time before making my reservation between the Choice chain and this hotel especially since this hotel was double the cost! After driving by the Choice choices, I am positive I chose correctly!! Perfect hotel with super comfortable beds and very clean. Large rooms and shower was shower only, no tub. 💙💙 Hallway lights were on motion sensor to save energy. Apparently the AC unit was also on motion sensor which I can’t say I was a fan of but it worked fine and wasn’t ridiculously noisy. Internet was strong and I never lost connectivity. Breakfast served my favorite at IHG, veggie egg white omelette. They also served regular cheese omelettes, plus the normal other items found on a breakfast bar. Room bathroom was also on light sensor so it turned on and off by itself. Shower was a large head with strong pressure for California! Large television with plenty to choose from. There’s not much around but fields so nice for walking. I don’t know how this hotel could have only a 3.8 rating!!! It’s perfect!!

  On our last leg of our 12 day roadtrip we choose this pricey hotel 350.00 plus taxes, ouch! Our air conditioner was on OFF, but came on anyways. Told the front desk he had to unplug it because no rooms available to move to. Then found out the microwave was not working. The room 402 on end was very quiet and beds very firm n comfy. Taren the supervisor of front desk was exceptional. People friendly.
