The room was well equipped and exceptionally clean. Everything was in very good condition. It's a little noisy with traffic, but being military, I've slept through worse. The provide ear plugs, so no complaints about noise if you use them. It isn't the Ritz, but for a road weary traveler, it works.
I must say I had a nice room. And great service upon checking in. I left a 10 dollar tip for the cleaners to clean the room. I left @9am. The room was not filthy and nothing was damaged. But the deposit was never returned to my CC. If the room wasn’t damaged why was my CC charged for the deposit??
This is my last time staying here in Ridgecest. They will take your deposit regardless if the room is clean. (Yes we utilized the bed linen, and towels). But come on now, that’s all normal stuff.

Clean room, comfortable bed, and parking stalls in front of the rooms. Complimentary buffet style breakfast with many choices: Scrambled eggs, sausages & bacon, waffle/pancake/toast station, variety of muffins & pastries, fresh fruits (apples, banana, oranges), cereal dispensers, packaged yogurts, fruit juice & coffee counter, and variety of packaged condiments (jams, peanut butter, cream cheese, butter). Hot foods were kept in electric covered warmer dishes and they also have a microwave oven if you want to reheat your food; the attendants were very helpful, friendly, & kept the area clean; plenty of seating .
Hotel is conveniently located near stores (I think there's a CVS or a Walgreens across the street from hotel), restaurants & gas station. Stayed for 2 nights and will be back again.

As a frequent traveler who because of unavailability all too often has to stay in properties that are described as being upper level properties. In my opinion this property should be called the LEAST BEST Best Western. On a trip south and after driving for close to 6 hours I thought staying in Ridgecrest Ca would be a great stop over with then only needing three more hours the next day to get to my destination. Unfortunately at the time of booking the other "Major Brands" i.e Hampton Inns, Holiday Inn Express, Springhill suites, were all booked which didn't leave much choice for a comfortable overnight stay. However per other "POSITIVE" reviews this property came up as to what appeared to be a reasonably nice property. The only 2 nice things that I can say about this property was who was on the desk when I came in was very friendly, cordial and easy to deal with. The other positive was the decent breakfast that was available to guests. Other than that it was a total disaster. First the room was ok but nothing special or outstanding but to access the bathroom there was one door that worked to either close off the bedroom or when oopened from the bedroom served as a semi private door to the toilet area. There was no permanent door that separated toilet from the rest of the bath area. One sink in a cramped space. When the heater went on (which it did frequently and no heat in the bathroom) it was so loud it woke me and my wife up. Oh and that didn't account for heaters that were in neighboring rooms as we also heard those too. That then opens up the "Pandora's Box" We were on the first level and heard every noise from the rooms next to us and above us. The blanket was so thin you could almost see through it and there were no extra blankets in the closet. At 6:00 AM people were already banging stuff on the outside that added to the misery of not being able to sleep. My poor iwatch went crazy as it kept telling me it was time to go to sleep when I thought I was. Even though I paid for this room with CC points I'm convinced stayin at the Red Roof Inn would have been a better choice or for that matter my car would have been more comfortable and certainly wouldn't have been disturbed with all of the outside sounds that kept us awake.
Awesome inexpensive rooms, very clean and well kept . Hotel has a pool and jacuzzi.
