  We were impressed by how many amenities there were for an Express Inn. The breakfast was a full breakfast, the rooms were spacious enough, and the beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was the pool was FREEZING cold!

  No side doors for entry, wifi was constantly popping in and out, barely any food in walking distance. The rooms were exactly what I expected, no complaints there. Gentleman working the front desk was a bit terse, but nothing I couldn't live with. Second floor fire exit was locked, which is thoroughly unlawful.

  The pool is not heated. Had a child with us and she wouldn’t even swim because it was too cold. Talked with the family in the room next to ours and they said the same thing. The front desk person was nice and professional and the rooms were clean. As members of this chain, it’s sad we can’t expect to have available Information when it comes to pool locations ( inside/outside), kid friendly pool temperatures, whether hot tubs are available, if tubs are available in rooms, and better quality breakfast at each location. I know I would appreciate knowing what’s available at each location and in the room I’m staying in stated in the description on the app and google.

  My friend is a disabled veteran and I told the front desk upon arrival that he had his service animals with me which are registered with the state and I was charged a pet fee, and on top thay the man at the front desk lied about provided a veteran's discount to the room. I love Holiday Inn Express, but now I'm deeply disappointed and won't stay at them. Marriot offer's veteran's rate and honors it through the app and on the phone.

  The hotel is nice but a bit funky. The pool is an odd shape for laps. One of the stairway exits allowed you to go down but not come up. Neither stairway door allows external exit. We had a double King which was a first for us. The room set up was a bit lacking on easy access to outlets (regular and USB). The sink it outside the bathroom. There was only one nightstand so anyone of the opposite side did not have a place to put their phone, etc. There could be one more trash can in the bathroom. There was a couch in the sitting area but no TV. The TV did not rotate and was small. Internet was poor quality. Overall, the room was disappointing.
