  I had an incredibly disappointing stay at this Holiday Inn, primarily due to major plumbing issues and poor service recovery. The toilet in my first room (Room 220) stopped flushing, and when I contacted the front desk, I was told no technician would be available until the next business day. Shockingly, no alternative was offered until I explicitly asked if they expected my family to stay in a room without a working bathroom. A room change should have been the immediate solution, yet I had to fight just to get the basic necessity of a functioning washroom.The situation only worsened after I spent an hour packing and moving my kids and belongings to Room 208. This second room was in even poorer condition; the bathroom door wouldn’t lock, and the air conditioning made such loud, weird sounds that it kept the whole family awake. Between the maintenance failures, the lack of empathy from the staff, and the difficult access due to construction, it was a terrible experience for a family with children. I regret choosing this hotel and would not recommend it. Response to Management I am disappointed to see the hotel management choose to provide an inaccurate account of my stay rather than address the clear maintenance failures I experienced. Regarding the Plumbing: Your claim that the toilet was "fully functional" is false. If the toilet worked, I would not have spent an hour of my family’s limited vacation time packing and moving rooms with small children. Furthermore, other reviews for this property mention similar plumbing issues, suggesting a systemic problem rather than an isolated incident. The "Staff Visit": No employee came to my room to resolve the issue while I was there. The only communication I received from the front desk was an instruction to vacate the room as quickly as possible and return the key cards. Room 208 Condition: The door lock in the second room was objectively faulty, and the loud, disruptive AC unit made sleep nearly impossible. These are not "omitted facts"—they were the reality of my stay. The Construction Email: I checked all correspondence from Expedia; no email regarding roadworks or access issues was ever sent. While I understand the construction itself is out of your control, the lack of proactive communication and the difficulty of access added to an already stressful experience. It is unsettling that instead of offering an apology for the inconvenience caused to a family, the management has chosen to misrepresent the timeline of events. I stand by my original review to ensure other travelers are aware of the service level at this location.

  Il y avait pleins de poils humains dans nos deux lits et des cheveux. À 21h, en voulant entrer dans le lit, j’ai dû appeler la réception pour faire un changement de draps. J’ai dû moi même aider à refaire les lits vu que les 2 filles à la réception étaient seules à tout faire. Il n’y avait même plus de savon pour le corps dans la douche. C’est super quand tu es déjà dans la douche et que tu veux te laver. C’est Comme si la chambre n’avait pas été faite. J’ai trouvé ça dommage qu’ils ne nous offrent pas de rabais au moins.
