  Right on the edge of Chinatown and Old Montreal, the location is pretty good and is literally across the street from the metro station, so you're only steps away from the touristic heart of the city or catching a train to a new neighborhood. There is underground parking attached to the hotel which is nice, but the price is $40/day roughly. The biggest let down was that this place is showing it's age, wear and lack of value for the price. The graffiti/vandalism in the elevators that was dated to 2025 was disheartening along with the almost comical level of dust on top of the lanterns in the lobby that was so painfully obvious, with the gray against the sharp red. The first room we were given had a nasty smoky, dank/musty smell and was facing inside towards the hotel, offering absolutely no view except that into other guests rooms. We were given a new room that thankfully had no smell but was smaller and still faced inside, again disappointing. The rooms themselves are very dated, peeling wallpaper, loose carpet, banged up mini fridges and TV's that are pushing close to 20 years old with no PPV. For just over $1000 for 3 nights, I can't recommend it.

  J'ai été très satisfaite de ma chambre et du personnel travaillent dans cette belle établissement hôtelier j'ai trouvé la literie très bien et une bonne équipe formidable et très chaleureuse de plus près proche du métro c'est juste pour moi un véritable atout pour cette établissement hôtelier. Pour moi lors de mon passage j'ai juste été très satisfait du service et le prix est à la hauteur des différents services pour le quel j'ai choisis le temps de mon séjour.

  This was my fourth Holiday Inn stay in the past two months, and this was by far the best check-in experience. The front desk staff were excellent — friendly, professional, efficient, and very accommodating. They helped with my parking needs and also allowed me to bring my bike into my room, which I really appreciated. Check-in and check-out were both 10/10. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The bathroom was especially clean, the air conditioning worked very well, there were plenty of convenient outlets, and I enjoyed the view. The lobby was also very nice, and the Chinatown location was excellent for exploring Montreal. There were a few maintenance issues during the stay. The shower temperature control was very finicky, and the temperature would change after being adjusted. The ice machine on the 6th floor was also not working, which was particularly inconvenient because I needed ice for an injured knee. I mentioned both issues to the front desk when I checked out. My post-stay service experience was closer to 8/10. I contacted the hotel after realizing I had left an item in the room. Although the staff were polite and my initial contact was late in the evening after housekeeping had closed, I was redirected between different contacts and ultimately asked to email housekeeping myself. For a four-star hotel, I expected a higher level of ownership and follow-through. Even if housekeeping was closed at the time, I would have expected the request to be passed along internally and for someone to follow up with me, rather than having to navigate the process myself. One other minor issue was the elevators. They are a little slow and feel somewhat outdated, although there was rarely much traffic. The two parking elevators also seem to stop at Level 2 regardless, which can be a bit annoying, and it is not always clear whether they are travelling up or down. They also appear to prioritize upward travel, which can make getting back to the parking levels less intuitive. Overall, this was still the best of my recent Holiday Inn stays, particularly because of the excellent front desk experience and how accommodating the staff were. The room was comfortable and clean, but for a four-star property, the maintenance issues and post-stay coordination could be improved.

  Quel service médiocre et le mot est faible! Pour le reste c’est correct, maïs j’ai fait une erreur lors de ma réservation et le réceptionniste n’était d’aucune aide et aucune empathie et compréhension, ainsi que son supérieur. Ils m’ont induit en erreur et fait perdre mon temps pour essayer de régler mon problème, pour ensuite me faire presque envoyer promener au téléphone!!! Au final ça m’aura coûté 2 nuits pour le prix d’une, la deuxième nuit étant même 80$ plus cher pour une chambre de moins bonne qualité, sous prétexte que c’est la politique des tarifs qui s’ajustent en fonction des événements. Pourtant nous étions un lundi rendu à 20h, versus un jeudi soir, allez comprendre. Bref, c’est certain qu’on me prend pour une cruche! Aucune compréhension, aucune empathie, aucune ouverture à m’aider, le pire service que j’ai reçu d’un établissement et de loin. Plus jamais cet hôtel pour nous.

  GENERAL: Amazing vibes, lots of artwork and beautiful reception area. Elevator always stops at reception so if you don’t remember where it is you can still get there. Good location that is close to many many things such as pharmacy, convenience store, restaurants. Beautiful Koi Pond area with a walkway around it leading to a lovely pavilion. Access to lovely stores to get souvenirs and see some traditional Chinese artwork right on the bottom floor of the building. I interacted with many staff and they were all extremely pleasant. Cleaned room very well for us. 5/5 ROOM: Spacious, clean, well stocked with extras of everything in case you run out. A ton of space to put any belongings if you’re around for a while. TV guide with a list of English, French, and bilingual channels. Good sized mini fridge to store any food you may have. Lights look small but actually work extremely well. Many charging ports so we could take care of our laptops, watches, and phones at the same time. POOL: decent sized pool going up to 4’2” deep. Kept at a nice, cool temperature. Door leading to a cute little bench area and stone path for a nice walk outside. Access to a sauna and fresh towels available right in the pool area. Hot tub with fully adjustable jets that is also a decent size if wanting to spend time with a group of people. Chairs available for relaxing if you come with others but do not wish to get wet. *no lifeguard on duty so would advise against sending children without an accompanying adult* 5/5 GYM: Dumbbells maximum weight is 10lbs, and I am able to full stack curl one side of the cable machine. However, they have attachments where you can connect to both sides of the cable tower to double your maximal weight lifted, as well as a free to move bench. Treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bikes available. Weighing scale available. Aerobic step platform available. Washrooms and water in same room, as well as a fan if you get too warm. Definitely nothing crazy but there’s enough to get by while on vacation. 3/5
