  We stayed here two nights. What a gorgeous view. The room was clean and more than enough space for my little one to run around. The staff was spectacular. So friendly, incredible service & so helpful. The view was incredible. You can see the parliament from our room(832) + the city. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Ottawa. (From Toronto).

  We stayed for 6 nights. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Great coffee machine in the lobby. Was a little bit of a maze to get to pool that didn't always have towels. Room had a balcony with an Amazing view of Parliament hill. My only gripe was that I think there was a issue moisture coming into the carpets. They always felt like they had just been washed. Im Not sure if it was from the air conditioner, or an upper floor.

  I'm only rating this 2 stars because a 2 star review is harder to get rid of. I'm on a school farewell trip with friends and we're only staying here for one night (praise the lord). As soon as we got into our room, it smelled really weird. It wasn't a good smell, it made us feel a little weird. Other students are here too, just in different rooms, and one of my friends had a random man just walk into his hotel room without knocking. Hotel cleaning service was poor, with stains on bed sheets and DAMP towels that we never used in the first place. Beds are incredibly tiny, most likely twin sized. The shower head is too low and the bathtub has questionable stains. There was a random trail of blood in our hallway and security had to get involved. We still don't know what or why it happened, and we were all left scared. Our lock does NOT work properly, so I put a chair in front of our door. We have nothing to protect ourselves with and we are all under 18. This place is dangerous. If you actually read all of this, please take my word and choose a different hotel. Please stay safe.

  **Headline:** Property damage, room discrepancy, and management completely evading accountability! Never stay here! **Review:** My stay at this hotel was hands down the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. First, the actual room assigned to me completely regularized with the description on the platform. The room pictures on the platform explicitly showed a room with a balcony, but the room I received did not have one at all. Most unacceptably, my car was heavily scratched on the exterior doors while parked in the hotel lot for two full days and nights without being moved. When I discovered the damage and reported it to the front desk, the staff's attitude was extremely cold and poor. Although the manager eventually came out to inspect the vehicle, took down my phone number, and promised to look into it, they completely vanished afterwards. There has been no follow-up, no explanation, and they are completely evading their responsibility. This hotel lacks even the most basic security and customer service standards. I strongly advise future travelers to save your money, protect your property and peace of mind, and choose a different hotel instead.

  This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. When booking this hotel, we were shown photos that looked completely different from reality. The pictures on the website suggested beautiful river views, but our room overlooked unattractive buildings instead. There was no mention of this on the hotel’s page. We also expected to have a balcony based on the listing, but there was no balcony in our room at all. The room itself was extremely disappointing. None of the windows could be opened, which meant that for five days and nights we had no way to get fresh air into the room. On top of that, there was a constant unpleasant smell, like mold or dampness, throughout our entire stay. The breakfast experience was even worse. The only time we tried eating at the hotel, we paid almost $40 for two people. When we arrived, there was virtually no food left except for a few tasteless sausages and some juice. The staff member who charged us clearly knew that no more food would be prepared that morning, yet still took our money without warning us that almost everything was gone. We spent nearly $1,300 on this stay and received service that was completely unacceptable. We asked if it would be possible to change rooms, but nobody gave us a clear answer or attempted to help resolve the situation. For the amount of money we paid, we expected at least basic comfort, honesty, and customer service. Instead, we were left feeling misled and ignored. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
