  The room was clean, the bathroom was okay. The rest of the room definitely needs an update. I hope that Best Western will be able to foot the bill to get this location an update. The employees were very friendly.

  Booked this hotel via online booking site that is very famous. Certainly have no plan to use that site because it was a bad experience. 1. The room is very small and there is no desk or chair to sit and work. 2. The most horrible part of the stay was the WiFI. The moment I connected, it was a non-stop interrupted connection so much so that you can forget working or joining web meetings. 3. When I called the front desk the person Sia or Dia told me to call their tech help desk. So, I called that toll free number spoke to two different tech agents in a span of 3 - 4 hours and spent on an average 20 - 30 minutes each time. Granted the tech person tried to help but then told me there are a lot of guests at the hotel so wifi keeps dropping. That was the worst and it shows how careless this hotel is about wifi. Without a proper wifi connection how is it even possible to use the hotel? In the end, I called the booking company. the initially told me their written script that it is not refundable, call tomorrow etc. But I pushed hard and asked them to get me the refund ASAP. I was given refund for two days but the hotel would not refund for the day of checkin. Even though, my experience was miserable due to their horrible wifi. I would book at this place again nor recommend anyone to use this hotel

  Sheets and pillowcases on one of the beds had stains. The room was a bit run down. Once we checked in, someone tried to open our door to clean. They apologized and left when he saw us.

  A very nice, modest hotel in the hills of central San Diego County east of I-15. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean with good water pressure in the shower and decent free wifi. There is free breakfast and they have a swimming pool that is open in the summer months. I recommend...

  Why do I do this to myself!!?? Was going to give more stars because the place just didn't fit my needs as a business traveler, but may be decent otherwise. However... this place really sucks!!! If you have any standards WHATSOEVER as a business traveler, DO NOT STAY HERE! It is an absolute joke! 1st night I got here, the TV didn't work... so I went back to the office. They came out and fixed the issue, and rather quickly. Tonight (2nd night), I sit here writing this review because the TV is not working again. I tried doing what they did last night, but it's not working. I tried calling the front desk with the phone in the room but it just gets a busy signal. There was no room service today... Not even sure they HAVE room service. They provide ONE bar of soap that has to be shared between the "bathroom", and the shower. They gave two small bottles, one with shampoo, and one conditioner. The pool is completely empty and being worked on (would matter in the hotter months). You can hear the neighbors way too easily, and I'm sure the people downstairs could hear me too because the chair makes so much noise on the linoleum floor as I get up and sit back down. The free breakfast is almost laughable, but it is about what I expected... so no star loss there. I wouldn't say the room is comfortable, at all. In fact, as I'm trying to work at the desk, the chair keeps trying to roll away because the floor is uneven. If I back up in the chair at all, I hit the bed. Now I'm just being nitpicky. But it's still true. I have to endure 3 more nights here, including tonight. Lesson learned... hopefully you'll learn from my mistake.
