  They didn't specify anywhere that they were going through renovations. That was really difficult because we had to go all the way to the second floor to get ice. Next, there definitely is a safety concern- you have to go all the way out the building to get to the front desk. Its dark and not the safest place. They seem to have tenants who live there long term and invite friends over to hang out at the pool and drink. I did not feel for the amount I paid for my room was really worth the cost- especially with the quality of the motel. I have stayed at lots of Best Westerns and sadly this one did not do it justice. Our room was ok. Sometimes the key card worked. Breakfast was free. Pool and spa are in big need of resurfacing. My mom needed to work and they said on the website there was a meeting place- that was closed down due to remodeling. It felt as though they were remodeling everything at the same time causing lots of inconvenience.

  This is our 3rd stay! It needed work the second time. But wow! They have stepped up. The respentionist was one of the best I have experienced in years!. We are a race family and travel alot this was on of the best stays we have had in a while. The lady on 4/3/26 in the evening needs a RAISE!

  We were in room 240. Nice big room with a good king size bed. Those are the positives. Negatives were we were right next to the outside door which was very loud and right across from the stairs which made it very loud. Our neighbors were also very loud until 12:30 a.m. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Thankfully I brought my ear plugs otherwise my night would have been horrible! I don't think I will visit this hotel again! Even when I brought up these issues with the front office staff, he didn't seem to care.

  My Wife and I have been here several times and each time we love it. The location is perfect, the price is great and the service is especially wonderful. We absolutely love the woman at the front desk, Stanton. She is what all exceptional customer service should strive to be like. She really went above and beyond for us and helped make our stay and great one. Thank you so much.

  After checking out, was waiting quietly and patiently for my ride whom was coming from sacramento, out of view of any guests or customers, and was told I had 15 minutes to leave property or the cops would be called. Went to restaurant property to finish waiting , ( or so I thought) , and was told again I had 10 minutes to leave or the cops would be called. Extremely rude. I had my things hidden out of sight, was not doing anything except sitting quietly by myself, to act like I'm a nuisance after spending an arm and a leg for a subpar room, I was extremely offended. I grew up in placerville, couldn't believe how callous and unkind the female worker was. Won't come back.
