We stayed here for completion of a work contract; the location is just off the 101 Fwy, very convenient and centrally-located to any number of wine country tours and beatific drives and beaches. There are many stores and restaurants very nearby (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Safeway, Lucky's, Target, Staples, Fedex Office & Print, Harbor Freight, five below and many others!). The staff are very welcoming and attentive and resolved all needs and concerns courteously and quickly. The breakfast serves every range of diet requirements, and the rooms are large and clean, with mini-fridge, microwave, tv, and all bath/hygiene items provided, and there are very clean and well-maintained coin laundry facilities available. Also a pool. Rates vary depending on length of stay, days of the week, or seasonally, but are competitively priced with some discounts available. Definitely above-average facilities that I would recommend for either work travel or vacation lodgings. đđđ
If it wasnât 10:00pm and I hadnât been traveling all day, I wouldnât have accepted the room. There was a dirty napkin in the peep hole, what appeared to be a booger on a towel, and some staining on the pillow case. There was only a virtual desk attendant there at night. Returned in the morning and only a virtual attendant at that time as well. Donât recommend

I'm normally a bit of a hotel snob. I don't need to stay at the Ritz Carlton, but I also find Motel 6, Super 8, etc., gross. Typically in Petaluma, I'd stay at the Sheraton.
So, being a discount motel, I was apprehensive about staying at the Best Western, but was pleasantly surprised! Very clean rooms, furniture was in good shape, clean bathroom, coffee maker in room, comfortable and clean bed! Could definitely hear people walking above, but it was tolerable. Descent WiFi.
Nicely landscaped, with some gorgeous rose plants, plus an animal relief / smoking area.
Good location to food and restaurants.
The only negative, and it's subjective, I guess. But you don't check in with a real human. You check in through a computer with what's either a remote employee or AI. You have to scan your drivers' license to them. I don't like that.....please use a real person!
VERY SPACIOUS ROOM..DBL KG..GREAT PRICE INCLUDING FREE BREAKFAST...
Virtual check-in via live stream with an agent located in another country. Really? It felt so impersonal. We weren't given directions to our room or breakfast or any of the other amenities. Then we had to switch rooms halfway thru our stay bc of a water issue. The replacement room was a downgrade, didn't even have a tub, and only 1 bedside table.
Housekeeping staff and breakfast attendant were all very friendly and helpful, with the exception of one who was nice but spoke no English so was unable to help me with my question. Probably won't stay here again.
