  We loved our stay here.the rooms were very comfortable and clean.the cleaners cleaned every day.complimemtary breakfast was just amazing. The stuff were quick in refilling kept cleaning the tables.Partkcularly there was an older lady who had such high energy and was very polite.three cheers to her.thank you Holiday Inn.

  When we were planning our trip to the Maritimes, we had no idea of any good places to stay. We, like others, were at the mercy of other people’s reviews. We booked three nights in Charlottetown, PEI at the Holiday Inn Express. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn’s that were just ok. We were pleasantly surprised. The friendly staff, our room was immaculate, cozy, get thoughtful things like an extra light above the wardrobe, extra pillows, and great shower pressure. The complimentary breakfast was better than I thought it would be and the coffee was so good! Plus they offer coffee and hot water for tea all day.

  Everything was going great, but the front office guy (Ibrahim) was rude and arrogant when we asked him to fix the issue regarding cleaning of the room. When Ibrahim came in the room, he said that he is the Manager and his first line was "as you guys already got the discount, we will not be giving any other discount. We were like what the heck you are saying, we are not looking for discount, we are simply asking you to please request someone to please clean the room and the discount you are talking about is something you didn't give us, that is something a customer gets it when they are the IHG member. We didn't appreciate the way you hit our shoulder while leaving the room. We strongly request Management of the Holiday Inn Express to look into this.

  Not the best hotel for over CAD $500/night but good location though. I would’ve been happier if it was CAD $200/night for the cleanliness and service received at this location. Only thing good about this place is that they offer a decent breakfast that’s filling. I didn’t get good sleeps at this location cuz I could hear everything from ppl next door. Also, there’s no smart TV so no Netflix program available there. The TV screen would freeze at any moment.

  A comfortable and practical stay for a week in Charlottetown. • The Holiday Inn Express isn’t particularly central to downtown Charlottetown, but it’s only about a 12 minute drive, and with virtually no traffic in the mornings, getting around was very easy. For what we needed, the location worked well. • As expected, this is a fairly typical Holiday Inn Express. Nothing particularly fancy or distinctive, but the room checked all the boxes. I had a spacious king size bed, a comfortable mattress with both soft and firm pillows, a small work area, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and an armoire with an iron. I also really appreciated the lack of carpeting in the room. It made the space feel cleaner and fresher. • The bathroom was on the small side, and the very low bathtub definitely wasn’t designed for a relaxing soak, but it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. • The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. Breakfast is included, which was a nice convenience. There was a decent selection of hot and cold options, including eggs, sausage, pancakes and toast. The food was more functional than memorable, but it was satisfying and did the job. The morning breakfast staff deserve a special mention for being so welcoming, cheerful and genuinely pleasant. • The hotel itself is quite busy, with plenty of comings and goings, and soundproofing could definitely be better. We could hear doors opening, conversations from nearby rooms and water running, so it wasn’t always the quietest stay. • Does it have the charm of PEI? Not particularly. But it was clean, comfortable, practical and well located for our needs. For a week of working in Charlottetown, it checked all the right boxes and gave us exactly what we needed.
