    Was there for a conference. If you are looking for a room with a 70's vibe this is your place! Red wallpaper, dated brown carpeting...no fan in the bathroom, closet is in the bathroom ??? ..the shampoo, body wash and soap are a 3 in one...certainly not a good choice to support a conference. The room was clean but beyond that this is much more of a very low budget class hotel.

    Main issue is with hotel concierge service. Definitely a rude customer service. Hotel is pretty rough for how much is cost, but that’s more of a Palo Alto issue more broadly. You naturally just have to expect that you’re paying $400/night for a repurposed motel room.

    Horrible layout. No flow, management failed to reinvest into this property. I’m surprised they haven’t lost their flag. Hot muggy and smelly rooms. This is second time I stayed here.

    NO HOT WATER!!!! It was reported the first night of our stay. By the morning, there was still no hot water. They claimed engineering was still working on it. They offered us"free breakfast", but no thanks if there's no hot water to clean dishes. Also, the float in the toilet was broken and had to stop the water manually each flush. My sister in a different room reported shower head was broken.

    We attended a ballroom gathering here October 2025. This was the dinner. It is the worst chicken I have tasted. Does the chef here think that serving dry unseasoned chicken is the standard of a 4-star hotel let alone CROWNE PLAZA!? I understand that this may have been the cheapest option for the dinner group that reserved the ballroom. They could have spent a few extra cents to add some kind of flavor: like gravy, seasoning, spices… something to add flavor! Do better!
