Mother of the Groom here. We were at The Saguaro for our son and daughter-in-law's New Year's Eve wedding. Despite the rainy weather, it was just perfect. Mark Tinor was so great to work with. He made on-the-fly adjustments and set up a tent and provided umbrellas for the guests. Prior to the wedding, he assisted us in securing an early check-in and during the reception he regularly checked in to make sure we were pleased with the food and service. And the food was SO GOOD; among the best I've ever had at a wedding reception! The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. When we needed a bit of assistance setting up the reception room, the front desk immediately dispatched a handman to help us out. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I highly recommend The Saguaro as a wedding or vacation destination.

Came for the drag brunch. The queens were beautiful, the performance was great, and the crowd's energy was wild. The people made it a positive experience, but there could be a lot of areas for improvement from the venue. - Price point is high at ~$94 per person (excluding tips) and it only includes one entree plus bottomless mimosas with cheap bubbly. Appetizers and dessert (only churros on the menu) cost extra. They could at least give everyone complimentary churros. - I know no one goes to a drag brunch for the food, but the food really could use improvement. The additional side of shishito peppers was smothered in too much sauce. The avocado toast with eggs looks like a college student's quick-and-easy breakfast. The chicken Caesar salad had a sufficient protein portion, but otherwise was just a small bowl of creamy lettuce, a few carrot shavings, and 2 pieces of hard bread. - Blue acrylic plates/bowls felt like fast food. - The server did a good job of refilling the sparkling wine bottles, but the juice (orange, pineapple, cranberry) was only offered at the beginning. - The staff mentioned earplugs were available but never came around to check or ask if anyone wanted it. The room is small, it got extremely loud, and I left with a headache and my ears ringing. I did love the quick intros with the shout-outs to guests who were celebrating a bachelorette or birthday. The queens are charismatic and did a good job with improv.

I booked a stay for my adult son and me through Price Line & had booked a Queen Suite with 2 queen beds. Upon arrival, I was given my room key and directions to my room. Upon opening the door, I immediately knew there was a mistake. While the room itself was fine, it was not a suite, nor did it have 2 queen beds (which is what I specifically requested). I called the front desk and was informed that is the room PriceLine sent them & there was nothing they could do since all their rooms were sold out. I called PriceLine, and although they acknowledged the error, there was nothing they could do about it either. I had no other place to stay, so I kept the room and went out to eat dinner. During dinner, I got a phone call from The Saguaro's front desk. The front desk staff notified me that a guest had cancelled and that another standard room had become available. They graciously offered me the second room for my son at no charge. While the error was entirely PriceLine's fault, the staff at The Saguaro took it upon themselves to do whatever they could to rectify the situation. I've always said that mistakes can happen, but it is how the mistakes are handled that shows true character. Thank you to all front desk staff! By the way, go enjoy Drag Brunch at The Saguaro while you're there, you won't be disappointed!

We got married at The Saguaro on New Years Eve and it was an absolute blast! The venue is so fun, the ceremony and reception spaces were perfect, and the staff were amazing. Mark, the event manager, was super attentive and easy to work with. He helped us make some last minute changes due to weather and was cool throughout it all! And the bartender Ramon is the ultimate wedding bartender. The drinks were fire and flowing, and it was like he was part of the party! Those two especially helped make our wedding the party of the year, and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful as well. The restaurant El Jefe is a great spot for dinner and drinks, and the pool and hot tubs are the place to be all day. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

It was a really fun place to stay. The entrances to the hotel were ample, and the variety of things to do was great. I found the rooms quite large, comfortable, and the TV sets and stations were quite adequate. Everyone I saw seemed to be having a good time, and there was fun to be had everywhere from the lobby through to the pool and games area, and even in the restaurants. Good mix of people. The price was decent, and staff seem to know where all the good places in town were to eat and drink etc. Etc. The only thing I could recommend is to have more people working there so that we could have a little bit more attention to each client. I will go back again!
