The Saguaro Palm Springs is a colorful hotel in the desert. There's plenty of sunshine, a buzzing pool scene, and lots of local flavor. The 244 room hotel has multiple restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces -- all of which surround a stunning pool location. Designed to reflect the colorful vibrant spirit of the Coachella Valley desert, the bold color palette is the work of renowned architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat, who have infused the property with hues that reflect indigenous desert flowers.
Numerous reviews highlighted issues with cleanliness, including dirty carpets, stained rooms, and unkempt pool areas.
Staff Service
While many guests praised the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, there were also reports of rude service and unprofessional behavior from some employees.
Atmosphere
The hotel is described as vibrant and fun, particularly for younger crowds, but some guests found it too noisy and party-centric for a relaxing stay.
Room Condition
Many reviews noted that the rooms felt outdated and in need of renovation, with complaints about maintenance issues and overall neglect.
Value for Money
Several guests felt that the hotel was overpriced for the quality of accommodations and services provided, citing high resort fees and additional charges.

There are NO microwaves on premises. We literally had to buy one from Walmart. I'm not anti alphabet community, but this is one of those alphabet places. Make sure to get your breakfast and margarita vouchers, as the female at night doesn't even mention them. The mango jalapeno jam during breakfast is life🖤🖤
My service rating is based on the night employment and no microwaves

I really liked this hotel.
First, it has a great pool area with large swimming pool and two hot tubs. There are plenty of lounge chairs. Second, the room was spacious and clean and has a round table that was comfortable and own exit to pool area.
Overally, the hotel is coloured in bright tones that makes it positive. There is also the restaurant inside that is very convenient.

Kinda old and run down, can tell this place needs some renovations. The bright colors distract you from that but I just wouldn’t travel here if you can help it.

This place has taken a steep dive for the worse over the last 5 years. Hotel is dirty compared to any other property. Overall maintence of the property has declined and it’s obvious no money is put back into property. Even the parties are hosted at other nicer hotels. Hopeful for new owners before property dies completely. Staff is friendly but the property is run down and falling apart. Look at the other reviews and you will see a common topic of the lack of maintaining the property. Place has turned into a dump and needs new management ASAP.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue than The Saguaro for our destination wedding! This unique, colorful hotel perfectly captures the charm of old school Palm Springs while offering everything modern couples need.
Planning our wedding remotely could have been stressful, but The Saguaro made it effortless. Our contact Mark was absolutely phenomenal to work with—he answered every question quickly, was incredibly accommodating with our budget, and went above and beyond to throw in special touches that made our day and entire stay even more memorable. He was present throughout the entire event to ensure everything ran smoothly, which gave us complete peace of mind.
The food was outstanding! After our tasting, we provided some feedback, and the culinary team implemented every single change flawlessly. Our guests are still raving about the meal. We also can’t say enough about the margaritas, easily some of the best in the area!
Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely excited to help make our celebration special. The resort amenities kept our guests entertained throughout the entire weekend, making it feel like a true destination experience.
From a budget perspective, The Saguaro was incredibly reasonable compared to other Palm Springs venues—low space rental costs and no minimum room block requirement made it accessible without sacrificing quality or beauty.
If you're looking for a vibrant, charming, and affordable Palm Springs wedding venue with an exceptional team, The Saguaro is the perfect choice!
