This was a girls trip. The hotel is about 4 miles from downtown which was ok since we just got an uber when needed. The 2 bedroom suite has 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom is very small. Kitchen is lightly furnished. We had to ask daily for additional items needed. Our main issue was the pool bar and food closes at 6 during the week and 8 on weekends. There was no other options for food and drink within walking distance. This was very disappointing since we were on vacation. Many people were upset. The staff at the bar however was awesome.

Honestly, this hotel is old, dusty, dark, and surprising that it's Hilton. - The climate control in the room is horrendous. The bedrooms are 75/76 while the living room is 71 and the thermostat is set to 68. - There are no fans in the rooms or living room for air flow - Want to open the windows in the evenings to let some cool air in the bedroom? Not really an option, they open up from the floor and there are no screens. So not only not safe if you forget to close them with a baby, but you'll have mosquitoes flying in. - There are no lights in the ceiling, only lamps on stands which don't do a good job of lighting up the large room. - The doors and cabinets are squeaky as hell. - The toilet bowl handle is loose and janky. - The housekeeping cleaned our room and took all the towels leaving us none. And didn't refill toilet paper. - The kitchen is absolutely tiny. - The fire alarms went off in our building at 9pm pm two different nights while we were here. - They shut off our building's water for 2 hours two different times. - Running the microwave is a game of roulette - you have a 50/50 chance of blowing a fuse and shutting off all power to the room which happened several times. - On the last night there, the shower would not get hot. Had to take a cold shower, both the wife and I. Absolute mess. Will definitely not be back.

Great spot for a quick stay. I believe this location caters more to longer term visits (1 - 2 weeks), but it was great for an overnight. Room was excellent, bed was fantastically comfortable, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. Views of the very nearby mountains are amazing, and it's perfectly situated to hike the S. Lykken trail, basically just across the street.

Lovely setting away from the hubbub of downtown with a dramatic setting of the mountains as a backdrop. Easy access to the trails, too. We had a 1 bedroom thru a timeshare exchange, very spacious with everything we needed in the kitchen. Ralph's is nearby so easy to stock up on supplies. The pool is lovely and quite big. The wrapping in the stair bar to keep your hands from being scaled was very smart, I'd not seen that before. Also, it's nice that they had water coolers for guests as the PS water from the tap is icky. The gym equipment is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. As for things to do, highly recommend the tram ride, a hike at the top and dining at The Peaks. For gambling, Agua Caliente in Cathedral City is non smoking, well laid out, mellow and offered many bonuses on the slots.

The rooms are in very good shape. Staff is very responsive. We love the pool with its waterfall. Pool bar staff is great and so is the food. If you're not driving an SUV or tall truck you can park under the building. That's important when it's hot.our balcony looks out at the mountains. It feels like you can reach out and touch them. The resort is about 3 miles from downtown Palm Springs so you need to drive. That's the only downside. But it's worth it to stay here.
