I am so incredibly impressed with the service at this hotel! I accidentally left a piece of clothing behind during my stay, and when I called two weeks later, I was thrilled to find that they had kept it safe for me. They went above and beyond to mail it back, and I am so grateful to have it back as it is one of my favorites.
The hotel itself is impeccable—the interior design, the premium toiletries, and the restaurant are all curated with exceptional taste. This experience has made me a loyal guest, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
Almost perfect hotel and location, but the walls are thin and I could hear people talking outside and snoring in the next rooms and it was hard to get a good night's sleep. $60/day resort fee which includes valet service including charging your EV overnight. No pool but a gym is present. No in room coffee or tea, but available by the check in desk but only available for a short time.
Desk Experience
The hotel itself is truly beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and overall a great property. It is definitely on the pricier side, which is why professional service should be expected. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk was extremely disappointing.
We booked the hotel on the same day. Before completing the booking, we politely asked if it would be possible to quickly view a room first. We were immediately told this was against policy and that we should simply look at the photos online.
Since we liked the lobby, we trusted our instincts and booked immediately through Expedia, paying the full amount online.
Just a few minutes later at check-in, we expected a normal security deposit. Instead, the hotel blocked the full room amount again on a second credit card, plus the deposit. Over $1,200 was suddenly tied up, even though the stay had already been fully paid through Expedia.
When we questioned this, we were told the hotel had not yet received the money from Expedia and that we should contact Expedia ourselves. We travel very often and have never experienced this before. Expedia also confirmed to us that this is not standard procedure.
After complaining, we were told the charge would be reversed.
However, at check-out the amount was still pending. We were told to wait a few days. Then, right after leaving the hotel, another additional $400 was suddenly blocked on the same card, forcing us to return once again to resolve the issue.
At that point, multiple amounts had been placed on our credit card, affecting our available limit while we were still traveling.
What concerns us now most is that we simply have to hope all of these authorizations are actually released in full. No clear confirmation or proper overview of the total blocked amounts across the different cards could be provided.
Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of ownership, poor communication, and no genuine attempt to make things right.
A beautiful hotel physically, but the front desk experience unfortunately did not match the price level or standard one would expect.

Location is great. Walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. We stayed here for 3 days with friends. The rooms have thin walls. We could hear the people above us the whole three days we were staying there. Very annoying. There are no ice machines on any floor so room service has to bring it to you. There is a steamer in the room. We had to call for an ironing board and iron.
On our checking in at 4:00 pm our room wasn’t ready. Our friends room was ready on time. The women helping us wasn’t well trained. Another young man helped us and switched us to another room and gave us two free drinks for the bar at their restaurant and apologized.
This hotel just opened in January so they have some kinks to work on. Just a note: there are four extra fees charged to your room rate.
Very disappointed with our experience.
The day before we arrived, another person at the front desk told us that getting a rollaway bed would not be a problem. But when we checked in the next day, they suddenly refused to provide it, even though it seemed like they had the ability to do so.
What made it worse was the attitude. Ben at the front desk was very rude and not helpful at all. Instead of trying to find a solution, he was dismissive and made the whole situation unnecessarily frustrating.
I really do not understand this level of disrespect and poor customer service, especially from a hotel.
