Had issues with the phone not working on our room and one TV remote was controlling both TVs my TV would not be controlled unless I stood up and held the remote behind the TV took us a day and a half to get somebody there to fix the problem

Wonderful in almost every way. Nice space, all the amenities I wanted, good location, beautiful rooms, clean, and good service.
Tap water tastes awful, but that's the county, not this hotel in particular. If i have to be in this water-forsaken county (I'm being dramatic, it's not like it's unsafe), I'll choose this hotel.

The Best Western in Pacific Grove was a great stay for 3 nights. We had a king room and there was plenty of space due to the huge walk in closet! You could almost put another bed in it. The bathroom was also spacious. The hotel was in a good location, not far from central Monterey, but not close enough to walk easily. I know there is not often a need for air conditioning in this area, but the room did get a little warm/stuffy. The ceiling fan didn't offer enough air flow. Also, we were on the third floor with no elevator. That was fine for us, but might be difficult for others. Other than that, everything was great. We would definitely stay again!

This place blew my mind when I arrived back to the room at night and saw there is no AC. I think to myself “well this is by the coast so it must be a moderate temperature” I could live without this COMMON amenity by just having the screen door open.
That would be great. IF IT ACTUALLY CLOSED.
Absolutely insane to not offer cooling while at the same time not maintaining your screen doors enough to have them not let in mosquitoes and other bugs.
So in the precious time I have to sleep in this hotel I’ll be sweating and sleeping worse than I would in the back seat of an Altima
