  What a neat place! We stayed again on our way home and got the bi-level queen room with a second bathroom and bed upstairs. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've had. Free parking, recently renovated, and friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Very unique with the separate buildings.

  We've been here for over a week while our home is getting repairs done. It has been such a great experience. Staff has been very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We are in the bi-level loft which is very spacious and perfect for 4 people to sleep comfortably. They also allowed dogs with a very reasonable pet fee. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding stay – perfect location, beautiful property, and amazing staff (especially Carlitos!) We had a fantastic stay at Staybridge Suites Oxnard – River Ridge and would absolutely come back. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: you’re right next to major shopping centers and the Premium Outlets, and the hotel sits peacefully beside a golf course—the view from the breakfast area is genuinely relaxing. At the same time, it’s very close to the highway, which makes getting around super easy, yet the environment stays surprisingly quiet. The property itself feels special: instead of one big building, it’s made up of charming small “houses” with four rooms each, which creates a calm, private atmosphere. Our room was spacious, bright, and extremely well-equipped—everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. Cleanliness and service were top-tier. The entire place was spotless, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The hotel was also beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel extra welcoming and cozy. A special shoutout goes to Carlitos at the breakfast buffet—he is truly exceptional. He takes care of everything with a smile, is incredibly kind, and makes sure guests are comfortable and well looked after. He genuinely elevates the whole breakfast experience. Highly recommended. Great atmosphere, great rooms, great people.

  The hotel is dated and needs some renovations. I was feeling unwell after traveling and just wanted to lay down. After a few hours I woke up and noticed the toilet was clogged by a previous guest. I was already feeling a bit queasy so that just grossed me out even further. I went to the front desk and asked if I could move rooms. Between the issues with the bathroom, lack of cleanliness standards, and the noise coming from other units I just wasn’t comfortable. The front desk staff denied my request to move rooms, so I said I’d like to check out. They told me if I checked out they wouldn’t refund the rest of my stay because I prepaid for 5 nights in advance. I was shocked, but it was a Saturday and I assumed once a manger was in on Monday, they’d rectify it. Well three phone calls, and several emails and I can’t even get a response. I travel often for work and am quite shocked by this. I will be filing a credit card dispute and small claims suit. I’ve never had a hotel deliver this poor of quality of a room and refuse a refund for a future stay. Legally, they’re out of bounds and I am a bit annoyed they’re forcing me to go through this process to get my money back. Please avoid this hotel and their headaches. A brand new TownHome Suites just opened up near The Collection, that hotel is ran much more professionally and it’s clean!
