It smelled like formaldehyde and cheap dollar store cleaner. The smell was so overwhelming that I had to keep a window open just to try to air things out. And the bathroom smelled disgusting. It smelled like mold and sewage. The trim boards around the bottom of the walls were all swollen like they were super wet at one point. There was a hole in the wall under my desk, and the walls were not clean. You could see streaks of some kind of fluid splattered on the walls. The shower was not much better. The tub felt 'slick' to the touch. I shudder to think what would make it slimy, but it was. The walls are also paper thin. The people above me were probably not trying to be very loud, but every time they turned over in bed it sounded like someone was dropping a heavy object on the floor. I'm not sure what was happening up there, but it sounded like they were rearranging furniture all night long. The first night I barely slept 2 hours. I could not find another place to stay closely or I would have eaten the price of the second night just to find another hotel. Truly, it's a disgusting place to stay. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just being honest. I asked to change my room the first night I was there and the staff told me no. Although, I'm not sure that it would have mattered much.
