Welcome to the newly renovated Holiday Inn Express Whitby/Oshawa located in the heart of Durham Region. We are excited to bring great accommodations to our guests while they are visiting the Whitby/Oshawa area.
We pride ourselves on having a great location whether you are travelling to a local business, participating in a sports tournament, attending a wedding or just visiting the area; we know how to meet your needs. Conveniently located off of the HWY 401, we are within walking distance from Restaurants and Entertainment such as Kelsey's, The Tap and Tankard and The Greek Tycoon (to name a few). We are also within walking distance from the Whitby GO Station and an hour train ride from downtown Toronto.
Before heading out to explore the area, come and enjoy our signature Hot Buffet Breakfast. We also provide complimentary parking, a fitness room, Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the hotel. I’m a well respected member with IATA and your team needs a full overhaul.

Other staff has ZERO regard for the fact that a person (who has paid to extend the room) may want to sleep in before coming down to pay the deposit and get new keys. Awful experience. Definitely do not recommend staying here. Stay at the Residence Inn. They are much much better to deal with.

Woke up to a man in my room while in a state of undress. Followed by many more calls. I will not be staying here again. Do not recommend. Book next door at Residence Inn, they are much more accommodating.

In advance of a recent stay, I spoke to the manager about a challenge I would be facing while traveling. She and staff members took special measures to support me, and at check out I was even asked how it went. This is the hotel I will return to when I next need to be in the greater Toronto area.

The bathroom was not clean in the corners or around the baseboards. It might be just me, but I have stayed in many hotels and this was the first time I noticed it. The free breakfast was ok, it was a small enclosed area so we took our food back to the room. Overall, the stay was ok. 4 out of 5. Would we stay there again? Most likely yes.
