Welcome to the newly renovated Holiday Inn Express Whitby/Oshawa located in the heart of Durham Region. We are excited to bring great accommodations to our guests while they are visiting the Whitby/Oshawa area.
We pride ourselves on having a great location whether you are travelling to a local business, participating in a sports tournament, attending a wedding or just visiting the area; we know how to meet your needs. Conveniently located off of the HWY 401, we are within walking distance from Restaurants and Entertainment such as Kelsey's, The Tap and Tankard and The Greek Tycoon (to name a few). We are also within walking distance from the Whitby GO Station and an hour train ride from downtown Toronto.

- DDDiana DurnfordMay 6, 20265.0This is a small hotel with a family feeling. Staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. In advance of a recent stay, I spoke to the manager about a challenge I would be facing while traveling. She and staff members took special measures to support me, and at check out I was even asked how it went. This is the hotel I will return to when I next need to be in the greater Toronto area.
- BWBrad WebsterMay 4, 20264.0We stayed here for a night (double queen room). The room was nice, beds were soft and the room in general was clean. The bathroom was not clean in the corners or around the baseboards. It might be just me, but I have stayed in many hotels and this was the first time I noticed it. The free breakfast was ok, it was a small enclosed area so we took our food back to the room. Overall, the stay was ok. 4 out of 5. Would we stay there again? Most likely yes.
- JJJamesMay 3, 20264.0We enjoyed our stay here the beds are super comfortable the only real issue is the super low profile toilets they have. Its very tough for older people like my mother inlaw to get up and down off of these toilets. Aside from that the stay was great.

Very pleased with everything - rooms seem to be almost brand new, spotlessly clean and a good size (King with sofa). Breakfast had all of the important options and everything was well prepared. Lobby, including small business centre and items available for purchase, is all very well thought out. Service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely would recommend.
- JVJasper VdGMay 1, 20264.0For a budget hotel it is fine. Beds are good, there are a few restaurants across the street, enough parking space. Shopping mall 5-10m drive. What I didn't like is the breakfast with plastic plates and knifes and forks.
