  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Waterloo and was extremely disappointed with the housekeeping service and overall cleanliness. During my stay, the room was barely cleaned at all. The staff only emptied the trash and made the bed superficially, but the floors in both the bedroom and bathroom were never properly cleaned. There was visible dirt, dust, and hair on the bathroom floor that remained for the entire duration of my stay. It felt unsanitary and uncomfortable. When I politely complained at the front desk, I was told that the hotel only does a full cleaning every five days. This policy was never mentioned when I booked or checked in. As a guest paying full price, I expect basic daily cleaning standards — especially in the bathroom — not just trash removal. Having to clean the room myself or live with dirty floors is not what I expect from a Holiday Inn. This significantly ruined what should have been a comfortable stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about cleanliness and hygiene. Hopefully management will review their housekeeping policy, as it falls well below the standards expected from this brand.

  Really enjoyed our time here. After a long day of traveling, it was such a relief to arrive at a hotel that was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The room had everything we needed, the bed was super comfy, and the staff always had a smile on their face. Saturday Farmer’s Market was just across the hotel which was superbb!

  Clean, friendly, accommodating. Karima, always smiling, showed great hospitality for our daily breakfast by greeting us, refilling coffee, ice, cinnamon buns, and buffet trays.

  The location is great. We walked easily over to the Farmer's Market and didn't have to fight for a parking spot. The 2 restaurants nearby don't take reservations on Saturday and apparently have long waiting lists so I got A&W instead for dinner nearby. It's nice that I can look out of my hotel rooms window and see my car in the parking lot. The room was big and bright. TV was easy to use. I would recommend it. Only issue was I could hear some of the people above me.
