  Called to ask if I can check in at 6am as my flight was very early and had a long layover in toronto for 10hrs. When I got there, the manager was very rude and told me day use was 9-6pm so if I wanted to check in at 6am, id have to pay another $215 ontop of the day rate which I wouldve never came here if I was told that. They are all liars and scammers here, dont recommend this hotel. They do anything to get ur foot in the door.

  We stayed here because we had a long overnight flight connection. The hotel shuttle runs twice an hour and is very convenient. Customer service is good with an easy check in and check out process. When I called to confirm the reservation, the front desk staff emailed me details such as where to wait for the shuttle. We arrived around 10:30 pm and were happy to find the hotel restaurant (The Bistro) still open. The food was ok and the price reasonable. The location is super convenient, only 5 to 10 minutes from the airport. The room is spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable. All in all it has been a pleasant stay.

  Where to start. We PREPAID for a room IN ADVANCE, but then we get an email THE NIGHT OF OUR STAY, that our room was canceled and was told that "our card bounced". If its prepaid what is there to bounce? And wouldn't any decent hotel have a deposit sent for a room? So wouldn't you be able to tell the card bounced back in JANUARY when we booked the room. Then proceeded to turn around and make us pay more for a room. And 30 dollars a day just for parking? Why would I need to pay an extra 30 dollars a day on top of the hotel room you just sold me at a higher price is crazy. The room itself was alright. Except the plumbing is something to be desired. Sheets and towels were clean at least. Didn't get the chance to try out their breakfast because I was absolutely disgusted about the whole ordeal and didn't want to be there except to be in the room. If you want TO BE ABSOLUTELY FLEECED and SCARED INTO PAYING MORE for something you had already paid for, I would suggest staying elsewhere. Because the quality of the hotel overall definitely wasnt worth all the money we paid. 2 star hotel pretending to be a 3 star hotel with their prices.

  I was extremely disappointed with how my reservation was handled. My booking was cancelled without any notice, despite being only two weeks away and subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. The hotel claimed there was an issue with the credit card used to guarantee the reservation, but at no point did anyone contact me to advise of the problem or give me an opportunity to provide a different card. What makes this even more frustrating is that the hotel appears to have introduced a new policy related to stays during the FIFA event period and failed to communicate it to affected guests. Rather than reaching out to resolve the payment issue, they simply cancelled the reservation without warning. A simple phone call or email requesting an updated payment method would have prevented this situation entirely. Cancelling a confirmed reservation without notice, especially so close to the stay date, shows poor customer service and a lack of consideration for guests' travel plans. Imagine arriving after a long trip expecting to check in, only to discover that your reservation had been cancelled and no room was available. Fortunately, I found out before traveling, but that does not excuse the lack of communication. Guests should not have to worry that a confirmed reservation can disappear without notice when a simple request for updated payment information could have resolved the issue. I expected much better communication, transparency, and professionalism.

  Do not stay at this hotel. The customer service has been terrible. I've been waiting over a month for a callback regarding my concerns and have received nothing but broken promises and excuses. My 10-year-old son and I stayed here during a local hockey tournament. At the time, the hotel was housing a large number of people who had been displaced due to flooding on a nearby First Nations reservation. While I understand the need to help those affected, the hotel should have been transparent about the situation before accepting our booking. During our stay, there was a person passed out and swearing in the lobby while they were trying to wake him up, garbage and clutter throughout the elevators, excessive noise late into the night, and I was approached in the parking lot by a sketchy stranger staying there who mistook me for someone else while I was loading hockey equipment with my son. Another incident where the Toronto police came to arrest another tenant in the morning. It was an uncomfortable and unsettling experience. Unfortunately, my son witnessed much of this throughout the week and has been having nightmares since returning home. The entire purpose of our trip was to enjoy a hockey tournament and have a relaxing stay, but that was far from the reality. The only compensation offered was a free breakfast, which felt inadequate considering the circumstances. What has been even more frustrating is the complete lack of follow-up from management despite repeated attempts to contact them over the past month. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Poor communication, poor customer service, and a stay that was anything but relaxing. I would not recommend this hotel to families traveling with children.
