  Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe der U-Bahn Station College. Tiefgaragenanfahrt über die Woodstreet ...Durchfahrtshöhe nur 1.70. Empfang beim einchecken freundlich aber umständlich. Wir hatten während unseren 3 Nächten zwei Zimmer auf der 8. Etage. Einmal ein Zimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und eines mit zwei Queensize-Betten, beide sauber und entsprechend dem allgemeinen IHG/HI Standard für Innenstadthotels. Frühstück allerdings im Vergleich zu anderen HI eher unter dem Standard. Dadurch preislich auch eher hoch. Französische Gästeü am Nebentisch waren ob dem fehlenden Käse "entsetzt". Personal beim Frühstück sehr engagiert und freundlich. Die eine oder andere Investition in Aufzug oder Teppiche steht sicher in den kommenden Jahren an. Aktuell passt noch alles. Auschecken etwas kühl und professionell.

  Very disappointing experience – unacceptable hygiene issue We stayed at this hotel for one night, and unfortunately, our stay was negatively affected by a serious cleanliness issue in our room. We found what appeared to be a blood stain on the ceramic wall of the shower. Needless to say, we found this extremely disturbing from a hygiene standpoint. We were pressed for time and had other commitments, and since we returned to the hotel very late, we did not have an opportunity to report it to the front desk. We were so uncomfortable with the situation that we chose not to use the shower at all. I understand that mistakes can happen, but finding what appears to be blood in a hotel shower is simply unacceptable. A basic inspection should have caught this before the room was given to new guests. We immediately contacted the hotel’s Reservations Department and provided a photo of the stain. They forwarded our complaint to the Front Office and Housekeeping Department Head. However, we have still not received any response or follow-up since August 12. Given the seriousness of a hygiene issue involving what appears to be blood, the lack of follow-up is extremely disappointing. We expected the matter to be taken seriously and addressed promptly. For a one-night stay, this was certainly not the experience we expected. The cleanliness issue, combined with the lack of follow-up, significantly affected our impression of the hotel.

  Bereits beim Einchecken haben wir die erste schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Nach einer langen Anreise wollte ich noch vor dem Check in auf die Toilette an der Lobby, was ohne Zimmerkarte nicht ging. Also hat ich den Herrn am Check in mir den Gang zu ermöglichen. Er sagte mir mehrmals eine Sekunde bitte und lies die gesamte Check in Prozedur durchlaufen, mit Kreditkarten hinterlegen etc. Ich hm ätze explodieren können. Nachdem wir dann das Gepäck aus der Tiefgarage holten, standen wir ca. 30 Minuten vor den Fahrstühlen, die bereits gefüllt aus der Lobby kamen. Grundsätzlich muss man regelmäßig auf mehrere Aufzüge warten, bis Platz ist um mitgenommen zu werden. Die Zimmer sind klein (Familie mit 2 Kindern), zudem sind alte Teppichböden verlegt. Die Zimmerdame ist uns als Einzige positiv aufgefallen. Ja, die Lage ist gut, wiegt aber die genannten Erfahrungen nicht auf. Das schlechteste Zimmer unserer Reise war hier! Ich komme nicht mehr hierher.

  If you plan to get around the area near the hotel, it can be a reasonable choice, provided you aren't arriving in your own vehicle. There is currently ongoing street construction that limits access and creates a rather annoying, constant noise. Breakfasts are plentiful, though the quality is somewhat lacking; don't expect exceptional flavors. The main issue with the facilities is the poor performance of the elevators: there are too few for the number of floors, and they operate on an inefficient schedule. During peak times, it can take a long time just to get into a car. The Wi-Fi connection drops occasionally, but every room is equipped with a desk and USB ports.

  Disappointing start – Misleading Expedia info and initial room issues This review covers only our check-in and first few hours; I will update it as our stay continues. I booked a four-night stay for my daughter and her aunt through Expedia, which lists this property as a VIP Access hotel eligible for perks like room upgrades and complimentary breakfast. However, at check-in today, front desk staff informed us that this hotel is not a VIP hotel. I will be following up with Expedia separately regarding this discrepancy. Furthermore, despite explicitly requesting a quiet room, my family was assigned a room with a loud, continuous buzzing sound coming from either the pool equipment or the AC system. When they reported this to reception, the staff initially denied the noise and blamed it on street traffic. Only after my family played a recording of the sound did the staff hesitantly agree to move them to another room, which it is still very close to elevator. Very disappointing first few hours. I hope the rest of the stay improves.
