This location wasn’t what me and my family hoped to experience. After a certain time front doors lock so makes it hard to walk in and out of the hotel for a late night snack or smoke. First day found a open condom in my room and the tv still signed into the previous guess it was all down hill from the check in we always got accused of a group being in our room which no guess where inside our room they told us they where watching cameras which sounds pretty weird to know you can’t have a guess over it will be considered a GROUP this hotel is not worth your time or money breakfast was subpar the stay was the worst of any stay we had in Canada

Hotel was comfortable to sleep amd relax after the long flight. Rooms are a bit outdated and dark but still very clean. Housekeeping staff was very friendly. Breakfast was amazing with many options. Loved the coffee machine near reception area. Used their shuttle service as well. Overall a good play to unwind.

The Best Western Plus Toronto Airport Hotel delivers a smooth, hassle-free stay near Pearson Airport. The free 24/7 shuttle service picks up directly from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, saving guests time and money. Having the BITE Bar & Grill inside the hotel makes dinner quick and easy. While hotel dining is slightly pricier, getting a hot meal until 10 PM without ordering delivery is very convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring generous complimentary toiletries. Guests can also enjoy flexible late check-outs until 3 PM for a reasonable hourly fee(10$/hr after 12pm)

⭐ 0 STARS — SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN AND UNACCEPTABLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSE I am leaving this review regarding Best Western Plus, 5503 Eglinton Ave, Etobicoke, ON after an extremely concerning incident involving the hotel’s airport shuttle. My mother and family members were being transported to the airport in the hotel-operated shuttle when the vehicle’s door opened while the shuttle was in transit. As a result, a dark green carry-on suitcase belonging to my aunt, fell out of the moving vehicle and was lost somewhere along the route. This was not simply a case of misplaced luggage. The safety issue is far more serious. Multiple passengers witnessed the door warning light illuminated on the dashboard, indicating that the door was not properly secured. When passengers alerted the driver that the door had opened, the driver stopped the shuttle, re-secured the door, and drove back around the area searching for the missing suitcase. Despite these circumstances, the response from hotel management has been deeply disappointing. Rather than taking responsibility for investigating a potentially serious vehicle and passenger safety failure, management subsequently provided an account of the incident that we believe is inaccurate and directly contradicts what multiple passengers witnessed. What is particularly troubling is that the driver stopped and searched for the missing luggage immediately after the door opened, yet management later suggested there was insufficient evidence to establish what happened. A hotel-operated airport shuttle should have properly secured doors and luggage, and passengers should be able to trust that basic safety procedures are being followed. At this point, a police report has been filed with Peel Regional Police. Further escalation is also being pursued due to the lack of an appropriate response from hotel management. The missing suitcase contained personal belongings, but this review is ultimately about something much bigger: passenger safety, accountability, and how a hotel responds when something goes seriously wrong. I strongly encourage management to review the shuttle vehicle, its safety systems, driver procedures, and the circumstances surrounding this incident. For us, the most disappointing part has not only been losing the luggage—it has been the hotel’s response afterward and the apparent unwillingness to acknowledge what multiple passengers witnessed. I would not recommend this hotel based on this experience. Attached photo is the missing carry-on.

I booked this Best Western through Expedia for a birthday celebration, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. The front desk experience was not welcoming. We were not greeted with a smile or even a simple “How are you?” I had to initiate and facilitate the conversation myself, and very little information was provided unless I specifically asked for it. When I was asked to provide a security deposit, I was directed to the machine to enter my card but was not told the amount. I had to ask. I was also told to sign a document without any explanation of what I was signing and had to ask before learning that it was related to the no-smoking policy. I also asked whether the hotel did anything special for celebrations because we were there for a birthday. My question was essentially avoided, and instead I was told they could help arrange delivery of items. That was not what I was asking. I later requested toiletries and was told they could not bring them up. I never ended up receiving them. The biggest concern, however, was the cleanliness of the room. The sheets appeared dirty, and there were makeup stains on the comforter. The bathroom had numerous hairs in the shower and around the sink and toilet. The room was also very dark, and the air conditioning had apparently been shut off. When we entered, the room was musty and smelled unpleasant. These issues left me genuinely concerned about the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the room. There was also an uncomfortable difference in how the front desk staff interacted with guests. While I was waiting for my partner to return with the license plate information, I observed the same staff member assist the next guest. She appeared visibly annoyed and bothered while dealing with us, but then became much friendlier with the next guest, greeting him normally and smiling. I can't say why there was a difference, but it was noticeable and made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, both the arrival experience and the condition of the room were disappointing. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration, and unfortunately the stay did not feel welcoming, comfortable, or clean.
