I had a room rate for $200 but they ran out of "those" room's and because the only one they had left had a couch they wanted to charge me $500. I spend about two weeks a month in Holiday Inn's across Canada but wouldn't stay here.

Booked the room well in advance, and no email or mentioning of the pool being closed (a big reason why we booked. Room has splotches all over the wall, and it didn't feel very inviting. Also there were kids running the halls at 4 in the morning and drunk people at 3 in the morning. We understand these things can happened but when mentioned in the morning the receptionist said: "did you call to let us know, we could have switched your room". That wouldn't have been a good remedy with a 19 month old. What happened to monitoring the halls so paying customers can get the sleep they paid for? Won't stay again.
