  The front desk clerk mark was amazing. Very helpful with my complicated stay and many demands. We love this place close to Sauble beach and 5 minutes from port Elgin beach which is great for kids(less waves and a break wall). Stay every year for several nights as Sauble beach doesn’t have anything near this quality or price point. Also the breakfast buffet is amazing for a free hotel add on. Just as good as any restaurant for free. We always sneak a few snacks for the beach ;) don’t tell them lol

  Much better experience after the issue was resolved I initially had an issue with the room when I arrived, but I’m very happy with how the hotel handled it after I raised my concerns. They took my review seriously and made sure the situation was properly addressed. I was given a much better room, and the difference was significant. I really appreciate the hotel taking the feedback seriously and making things right. A special thank you to Kim at the front desk for her help and for making sure I was taken care of. It was reassuring to see that the hotel listened to the customer and took action. Overall, I’m happy with how the situation was resolved and appreciate the effort the team made to turn the experience around.

  What a nice hotel! We loved it 😊 The location was perfect for us, close to South Hampton and everything that is worth visiting including the wonderful nearby beaches. The hotel was very updated and still felt new. Their common areas and the rooms were all exceptionally clean. Every worker we came across was pleasant and smiling! We loved that they had a games room with a pool table. We visited this room a number of times during our stay. There is also seating and small tables in this room. We brought our coffees and snacks for every pool game. The common areas are gorgeous, big comfy chairs and couches all over the place. There is bar with a TV for sports. They also serves some foods here. Breakfast is included. The dining room offers a lot of seating options. The food was delicious and the options better than we had seen in a long time. We were in room 126. This room had a kitchenette which even included a full size fridge. It was an awesome room. There is a grocery store within walking distance which was super convenient. The room has everything one might need. There is fresh coffee available at the front just about all the time. They have a huge parking lot. We will be back here for sure!!!!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Port Elgin. The hotel is modern, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean. The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent and offered a great variety of options, making it an even better value. The location is ideal, just a short 8-minute drive from the main beach, making it a great getaway destination. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, which added to the convenience of our stay. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our visit. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. We look forward to returning in the future.

  Great stay! Actually better than expected. Very new. Exceptionally clean. Staff are happy and helpful. Check in was easy (thanks Brooke). Family LOVED the complimentary 24hr water/pop/coffee/tea stations. Room was very spacious great for our family of 5. Pool/fitness centre/games room were awesome and have later operating hours than most. NO CHARGE guest laundry. Complimentary breakfast was decent with a ton of variety, also open later than most. Took part in $1-per-wing Sunday night, very tasty and servers were awesome. Got 2 “check-up” texts during my stay asking if everything was to my satisfaction. Yes - it was! In summary — the cost to stay here during long August weekend matches that of a deluxe Disney resort and is higher than most other places…. But compared to other options you get what you pay for & they don’t “nickel & dime” you. Do recommend and will stay here again.
