  Amazing hotel, super clean and the staff are amazing. The rooms were spotless upon arrival, and the amenities were really nice. The gym was really clean and same with the pool. There are a lot of fast food restaurants within walking distance and a Walmart in the back of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan on staying in Parry Sound

  Amazing stay. Held a 2 golf tournament in Parry Sound and being so centrally located with restaurants, Walmart and gas stations so close came in very handy. Staff were amazing as well. Will be highly recommending to anyone staying up North.

  Went up for the weekend with the family, great location, a lot of food choices around. Even has a WalMart right behind a walking distance! Custom service was great, rooms were amazing, highly recommend this Best Western if you want to enjoy a relaxing getaway.

  False advertising and bugs Below is a picture of the list of “accessible room” items provided in this hotel. The toilet, as shown, is not raised, and very hard to get up from it being so low. the bathroom had a tub with rails but if you can’t safely get in and out of tub it’s useless and there was no walk in shower, as listed. The chair in the room was ridiculously low for an accessible room and the desk chair had no arms to aid getting up from it. The mattress was very squishy and hard to move around in. When I sat on the side of the bed to put shoes on, I kept slipping off because the mattress was so poor. The floor was not flush and had about a half inch lip between the two areas. Would be hard with a wheelchair and a safety hazard if you have to get up in the middle of the night. The front desk worker was not present more times than not. The sign and bell, stating they would be back shortly was behind the desk on the far wall. After getting in the room, I did request to be moved into a proper accessible room but was told the hotel was fully booked. On the second day we left the room when housekeeping arrived- they asked how the room was and I complained about the lack of accessibility and was told the door to enter was accessible. When we arrived back later in the day, both room keys would not work to get in Coincidence? I think not. When we went downstairs there was no one at the front desk. I walked around the desk to get to the bell but it did not work. On the last day, I noticed the bug crawling in the bathroom. On checkout I asked to speak to the manager they were not in so I requested a call back. After a week, nothing. When I filled out the survey, I asked for a call back. They sent a form email with platitudes. I replied that their lack of concern was not acceptable and asked for their manager to contact me. It’s been over a week now and nothing. The only good thing was the kitchen staff. They were attentive, helpful and kept the area spotless for breakfast. Do not recommend.

  Enjoyed our stay at BWP - Parry Sound. The staff were kind and accomodating. For the staff, wanted to bring to your attention, during our stay at 9:30am, a female guest staying in the adjacent room took the time to knock on our door to tell us that our toddlers/infant children were being too loud. Never stopping to consider if those children have special needs or are having a hard time adjusting. On a child and pet friendly floor at 9:30am this woman interrupted our day because she couldn't enjoy her breakfast, which was taking place downstairs. Tip to the staff - Please don't put people without children in rooms near children because they don't understand that a natural part of being a child sometimes is being loud. If the Best Western Franchise is not willing the accomodate new parents with children and the hardships that come with it, please indicate the same on your reservation and we would be happy to book with someone else.
