  From the moment you enter this Holiday Inn, you can see how well maintained it is. The hard working staff are constantly keeping this facility in tip top shape. They even clean the hallway lights and stairwell (I like taking the stairs and noticed that someone spilled coffee-it was cleaned up immediately). The lobby and eating area are pristine. Complimentary morning breakfast(6:30-9:30 am) covers many options for weary travellers. Plus, you can get a coffee (decaf too) at any time. The staff are friendly and are willing to help you out with any request you might have. The rooms are decorated in a modern, sleek, minimalist fashion. Supplies are plenty. The gym is clean as is the pool. We originally had an Airbnb booked in Ottawa which turned out to be a total disaster so we checked in the following day to this Holiday Inn. What a welcome difference. The hotel is in walking distance to the Byward Market and other great attractions (Notre Dame, National Art Gallery). Like most city centres, there is a very visible transient population, but that is reality and no one approached us or was aggressive. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. They are doing an excellent job.

  È stato un soggiorno molto piacevole tutto sommato però devo daew un appunto sulla colazione , la struttura non è preparata per la grande affluenza di persone allora di colazione Ho passato 10 minuti ad aspettare un ravolo per sedermi poi una dipendente mi ha detto che c'erano dei tavoli liberi in una stanza che ho scoperto fosse la sala conferenze ! , anche la sala d'attesa di fronte alla reception era usata come stanza delle colazioni .

  I had a lovely time staying here while on vacation. It was my first time in Ottawa, and this hotel is conveniently situated close to attractions like Parliament and the ByWard Market, as well as grocery stores and pharmacies. You can get around by car and just as easily by foot! The rooms were spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and had a great selection of oatmeals, eggs, protein, and fruit. Incredibly kind service -- I was greeted warmly at the front desk, and the breakfast staff were just darling! I'll definitely stop by again if I ever come to Ottawa as my experience here was nothing but nice :)

  Very disappointing experience at this Holiday Inn in Ottawa. The hotel did not have parking available, and the alternative parking they provided was quite far from the hotel. The surrounding area felt unsafe, especially at night, with people openly using drugs and loitering around the parking area. When I asked the manager if the hotel provided a shuttle service from the alternate parking location because I felt unsafe walking back to the hotel, he simply said no and turned his face away instead of offering any assistance or showing concern. I understand that parking can sometimes be limited, but the lack of a safe and convenient alternative—and especially the manager’s dismissive attitude—was extremely disappointing. For a hotel, guest safety and customer service should be a priority. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are travelling with family or arriving late at night.

  Très mauvais qualité/prix , env 380$ ( hors parking ) pour une nuits avec chambres de deux lits Tout d’abord ,plus de place de parking après 16h30 ,donc parking public à l’extérieur de l’hôtel à env 10 min à pieds et qui en passant et beaucoup moins cher qu’à l’hôtel . L’eau de la piscine n’ai pas vraiment propre ni clair , Le plus gros problème et le bruit que fait la ventilation dans la chambres , impossible de dormir ou en fermant la climatisation ,donc avoir chaud toute la nuit car les fenêtres ne s’ouvre pas ,résultat malgré un lits confortable ,vous dormirez mal …. Par contre ,un gros plus pour le personnel du petit déjeuné qui sont très sympathique et professionnel Pour finir ,pour un tarif aussi élevé env 340 pour une nuitée ,je ne reviendrai pas
