  Place was great. Breakfast was normal hotel style. Nothing dance but covered eggs, sausage, toast, beans, waffles, juice. Rooms are clean and large. Beds were comfortable. The EV charging was handy, came at a cost but no idle fee so overnight charging was good.

  This hotel brand (Glō Best Western) offers a truly free hot breakfast. Sausage, scrambled eggs, hot potatoes, Along with waffles , assorted pastries , fruits , coffee and orange juice. The hotel itself is relatively new and very modern. In your room, you can scan a QR Code which will then lead you to all the hotels amenities.Even offering flight departure times, Local amenities such as restaurants , banks and even the Tangiers Outlet Mall information. Very good suburbian location , right off the freeway , with plenty of restaurants right down the street.

  Hotel has a modern feel and interesting room furniture and features like a white noise dial on the desk to drown out any highway noise. The fella at the front desk was very kind and accommodating and even brought chairs outside each morning for me due to my bad back.

  We were given room 305 which faced the highway. The traffic noise was very loud and made sleep difficult. The A/C unit was also loud. Only chair was an office type at the desk. There were 2 vinyl covered benches at the window corners. Both were uncomfortable and one was next to the A/C unit which blew cold air on anyone using it. When going out to dinner we spoke with the front desk about the noise problem from the highway and AC unit. Asked if a different room was available and were told no. We were offered ear plugs and told there was a noise cancelling device in the room next to the AC unit. We found this when we returned to the room and it was working but did nothing to reduce the noise. The fact that they have this noise equipment and offered ear plugs show they aware of the problem. I wouldn't stay again at this location and suggest if you must because of the location insist on a room not facing the highway. We also had to turn the A/C unit off because of the noise it made.

  We had a terrible stay at Best Western Glo Kanata and ended up leaving a night early. When we arrived around 9:30 p.m., the lobby was packed with screaming children and loud adults. Kids were running everywhere, playing with the elevators and anything else they could get their hands on. There was no supervision and no staff making any effort to control the situation. It took us a long time to get to our room because the children kept stopping the elevators. When we finally got there, our room key didn’t work, so we had to make our way back downstairs through the crowded lobby. We then waited another 10 minutes before a staff member came to the front desk to help us. The hotel itself was also noticeably dirty, with common areas that didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly and our shower was full of grime and dirt. Breakfast was good, although it would have been nice to have more breakfast meat options than just sausage. Unfortunately, the second evening was even worse. We returned to complete chaos in the lobby. Children were running through the hallways throwing cups of water at each other, playing with the elevators again, and even running around the parked cars outside. Once again, there was no supervision from parents or intervention from hotel staff. On top of that, we had constant pounding footsteps and screaming from the room above us. After completing a fitness competition, we were looking forward to a quiet, relaxing evening. Instead, we decided we’d had enough, packed up, and left early. Children are absolutely welcome at hotels, but parents need to teach them that a hotel is a shared space—not their home or a playground. Other guests deserve to enjoy their stay without constant noise, disruption, and unsafe behaviour. Staff also need to be willing to enforce reasonable expectations when situations get out of hand. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.
