I am on the hotel patio. I am sitting on a chair that they offer currently I found a bolt next to the door. The chair I sat on happen to be where that bolt came from so I did my due diligence work and I fixed the chair and I did my handyman stuff so I will say they need to pay me but like five bucks will be fine but altogether the hotel it’s kinda good kind of not 50-50✌️😃🫱

Overall, we were very disappointed in our stay at the Staybridge in London. The building itself is in a very tired state. The gardens were filled with overgrown weeds (over 4 ft), the windows were filthy, and just a general state of being unkept. Our first room was dirty with debris on the floor and hair left in the room. We asked to switch rooms, only to have the housekeeper barge into the room without knocking and demanding to know where the dirt was. This was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. We were given a second room which was cleaner, but overall, the rooms are a mix of old and new. There have been some new upgrades but still old tub, toilet, outlets, and couch (we didn't even sit on it because of the stains). The rooms were quiet, and the bed was comfy (minus the queen sized comforter for the king size bed). I contacted IHG who said they would be in contact with the manager who would reach out to me, and they never did. Our first morning of breakfast we had to walk out as the food was completely picked over (green bananas broken in half, one burnt tea biscuit, two sausages) and it was a mess. When checking out, we shared our concerns with the front staff. He was pleasant and apologized, but overall, for the price, we would have expected a compensation of some sorts for this disappointing hotel experience.
Update: We received an email from the manager of the hotel, who was very apologetic. I appreciate their accountability they took.

Stayed in a 1 bed room suite, has a king size bed and a pull out couch, full kitchen. Room was clean, pool clean. They supply the essentials for the kitchen. They also have soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion in the bathroom. Breakfast that was included was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice clean suite, breakfast included.
Thoroughly enjoying our stay.
The staff are very accommodating, courteous and it’s service with a smile from everyone including the housekeeping staff .
I would like to make special mention of Daniel and Kash. They are to be commended for their positive attitude and for making us feel so welcome at check in and throughout our nine day stay.
Every day as we passed by the front desk staff would be greeted with a wave and a greeting.
All the staff and management have been courteous, polite and friendly.
Our stay has been enjoyable and a pleasant experience.
I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at Staybridge Suites on a Thursday and Friday night with two children (ages 5 and 10).
Overall, the room itself was great. We booked a one-bedroom suite, and the price was good for the space provided. The room was clean, comfortable, and the in-room ice maker was a very convenient feature that we appreciated. We were also grateful to be allowed an early check-in, and the noon checkout time was a nice bonus.
Unfortunately, our biggest issue was with the pool area. On Friday night there were approximately 15 boys, likely around 10-13 years old, in the pool with no supervising adults present. A few parents were standing outside the pool area socializing rather than actively supervising.
The children were engaging in unsafe behavior, including putting each other in chokeholds, pushing each other underwater, screaming, splashing other guests, and hitting a volleyball around the pool area. At one point, the ball struck our youngest and we had to tell the kids to be careful, which made no difference. This atmosphere made it impossible for other guests to enjoy the pool safely.
As a result, we left before the pool closed, and both of our children were bothered by the experience to the point they didn't want to return to the pool the next morning. It completely ruined what should have been a fun part of their stay.
I spoke with a staff member about the situation. While he did try to address it, he chose to do so directly in front of the other parents while I was standing beside him, which was uncomfortable. When I expressed my concerns, I was told there was little else that could be done.
What was most frustrating is that there is a large sign clearly stating that children under a certain age must be accompanied by an adult. That policy was not being enforced. Beyond the disruption, someone could have been seriously injured given the behavior taking place in the water.
I understand this appeared to be a sports team staying at the hotel, but other guests are paying customers as well and should be able to safely enjoy the amenities. With better enforcement of pool rules and supervision requirements, our stay would have been much more enjoyable.
Overall, the room, amenities, and most of the staff were excellent, but the lack of supervision and enforcement in the pool area significantly impacted our family's experience.
