We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kitchener last week while preparing for our finals, and we absolutely loved our stay. The hotel was very clean and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, spacious, and had a lovely view. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made such a difference during a stressful exam week.
One thing we especially appreciated was the fully working air conditioning in mid-April during the sudden heat wave. Many other buildings had not turned their AC on yet, so being able to stay cool and comfortable was amazing.
The bathroom amenities were great quality, and toothbrushes/toothpaste were kindly provided upon request. Breakfast was not overly fancy, but it was delicious and had everything we needed. There was a rotating hot breakfast with eggs, sausage/bacon, beans, and potatoes, along with pancakes, pastries, different breads for toasting, yogurt, fresh fruit, milk/chocolate milk, juices, oatmeal, and more.
We also loved that the coffee and hot water station was available 24/7, which was perfect for our late-night study sessions. The lobby was bright, safe, and inviting, and all staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The gym was another great feature—clean, accessible 24/7, with towels and a water refill station available. Housekeeping was wonderful throughout our stay, and there was plenty of parking right in front of the hotel, which made everything even more convenient.
Overall, we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kitchener.
