I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could. Pros / Cons - Breakfast was wonderful - great variety, well cooked and the whole family loved it - The service was also wonderful - very friendly and helpful - The option of games in the basement is really great for the family - there is bowling, ping pong, basic mini golf and an arcade. Just a heads up that it costs extra and each activity only accommodates one family at a time (was not clear on the website). We loved the bowling. The arcade is extremely broken and honestly should be either closed or fixed. The ping pong table was also broken. The basement games also suddenly closed for a private event and the kids were disappointed. - The space is a bit dated, but it was clean. - No laundry service on the weekends - Overall, the place was clean and friendly - just a bit dated and quirky

I attended a wedding at this venue, and while the location itself was beautiful, the staff and service were very disappointing. The buffet was slow to restock, and the chicken was undercooked. Drink prices were extremely high, and even the bride and groom seemed surprised by them. The staff was also quite rude; I personally witnessed a staff member yelling at the bride and groom in the hallway on their wedding day. Around 10:40 p.m., the bar was already closed, despite the reception supposedly running until midnight. The lights were on and the music had been turned down, which made it seem like the event was being shut down early. I feel terrible that the bride and groom’s special day was affected this way. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere for a wedding venue.

Be Very Cautious When Planning an Event Here I strongly recommend being very cautious if you are considering this venue for an event. Our experience planning and hosting our wedding reception here over the course of three years was extremely disappointing. Our first point of contact was Devika Unni. She showed us the hall, which was beautiful, and walked us through its features, including the A/V system and lighting. After some time, we were introduced to Ishita Bassi. We met with her several times to discuss our plans, menus, setup, and the features we would be using. She then introduced us to David, the banquet manager. Ishita also assured us that she would be present on the night of our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. Throughout the planning process, we confirmed the room rentals, menus, layout, and various features we intended to use. Unfortunately, problems began shortly before the wedding. The day before the wedding, we were presented with additional charges for rooms that we understood were already included in what we had paid. At the same time, we noticed significant cleanliness and hygiene issues throughout the hall, including stains and even clumps of hair on the floor. We brought these issues to David's attention and assumed they would be addressed before the reception. Unfortunately, they were not. On the night of the reception, it became clear that several of our concerns had still not been addressed. The cleanliness of the hall was not at the standard we would expect from a premium event venue. There were also discrepancies with the beverage service. The drink selection differed from the menu we had been provided, including differences in the actual products and their prices. Another major issue involved the party lighting. When we asked David to turn on the party lights, he told us that they were not included and that there would be an additional charge. I explained that both Devika and Ishita had been informed during the planning process that we would be using the lights. David then changed his explanation and told me that the lights were broken. Additionally, one of the late-night food platters we had paid for was never served. However, the most serious issue occurred later in the evening. We had paid for use of the hall until midnight. At approximately 10:30 p.m., the bright hall lights were turned on, the A/V system was shut off, and the bar was closed. This effectively brought our reception to an end approximately 90 minutes before the time we had paid for. When we subsequently raised these issues with the venue, we were given explanations that directly contradicted our experience. We were told that I had refused to pay for the party lights and that we had been asked whether we wanted additional food for our guests. Neither of these statements is true. It has now been months, and despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, nothing has been resolved. I have emailed, called, and left messages for the hotel manager, Manoj Nair, and have not received a response. Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing. After investing three years into planning our wedding and paying for a premium event experience, we expected the agreed-upon services and facilities to be delivered as discussed. If you decide to hold an event here, make sure every single detail is documented in writing and included in your contract, no matter how minor it may seem. Do not rely on verbal assurances about lighting, A/V, food, room rentals, operating hours, or any other services. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this venue for an important event.

If you plan on having your wedding here I HIGHLY suggest you choose another venue. Once everything was talked over and paid for it seemed to go down hill. We were told lies over and over and charged for things that were supposed to be included in the initial price over and over. For example the room was supposed to be covered. The day before the wedding we were told it was not, so that was 500$ dropped the day before the wedding unexpectedly. Things disguised about set up were not passed on properly. So upon arrival, there was huge confusion, something that shouldn’t have to be dealing with the day before the wedding, and this is just the beginning. As the wedding day came everything seemed to work out until …food started running out for a meal that was supposed to be buffet style. THEN we were told that 11:00 the music is to be turned down. Which is absurd, considering it’s a wedding and we’re being told this the day of. We had no time to even turn down the music because they shut it down at 10:30 stating this was policy, again something that was NEVER discussed. This was very upsetting for our family. Then they proceeded to turn off the beautiful over lights that sold my family on this venue saying that this was an extra charge that this was not included. ANOTHER lie! The snack table later on came out with next to no food. Everyone didn’t get a chance to get any food. The saddest part about this whole thing is the hotel does not want to take any accountability instead wants to lie about things that clearly happened and didn’t happen. I wouldn’t suggest this venue for any family. Very sad how my family was dealt with.
