  This Hotel was by far the best place we have ever stayed in. The staff that we met during our stay consisted of Carol & Loni (servers), the Chef Mukti, the restaurant Manager Vishnu and the wonderful front desk employees were the very best. Their service was excellent. They were on top of everything and made our stay memorable. The quality of the decor, rooms etc. was the best we have ever seen. The hotel features a pool, mini put, bowling, exercise room etc. not to mention the beautiful dining area. The quality of the sheets, towels etc. were the very best. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Furthermore the price was very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting the area again and the Crown Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo will be the ONLY PLACE we will choose to stay. Thank you for this unforgettable stay in your beautiful hotel.

  This was 1 of the only times we didn't have to ask about feather pillows not being in the room. The let us know at check in and when we went in there were not any to be found. It was so nice . There was a tiny issue in the room and they immediately fixed it and then sent us an apology, which they did not need to do. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the variety on it would please even the pickiest eaters. It included an omelette and crepe station and all your regular breakfast bar fixings. The staff provided beyond exceptional services, we even saw one of the staff cleaning the parking lot. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel and their staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it is definitely on our top 5 list of hotels we have ever stayed at.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had! The breakfast at Crowne Plaza Kitchener was exceptional, with a great variety of fresh, delicious, and high-quality food. Everything was perfectly prepared, and you could really taste the care that went into every dish. A big hats off to Chef Mukthi for creating such an outstanding breakfast experience. The quality, flavor, and presentation were all excellent. I highly recommend the breakfast to anyone staying at or visiting the hotel. I’ll definitely be back!

  Stay was enjoyable as the hotel is conveniently located in Kitchener downtown (next to a modern tramway – the ION Light Rail Transit) with easy highway access. Front desk’s “Shiv, Rilha, & Theresa” were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. An issue cropped up and we were pleasantly upgraded to a suite. Housekeeping was always attentive with a smile. Breakfast at AQUA was good and “Carol” made it an experience that we kept looking forward to every morning. God Bless her with continued health and happiness. One note though, the entry doors are very heavy (accessibility is an issue via the same). All in all, will probably be our choice for the next visit and a definite recommendation for friends & family.

  Average. Neither spectacular nor outright bad. At best it was "ok" or "meh". The hotel is very dated and in dire need of a renovation. Old carpets and rugs everywhere vs clean and new hardwood or laminate. The front desk is quite set back from the hotel entrance. TV is still on cable vs Netflix and streaming services. The restaurant had breakfast included with our room rate...the food was, again, at best a "meh" or "ok." It was not bad. But for $230 a night plus $12 in parking in Kitchener, I expected way more. I can pay $230 a night including parking in downtown Toronto and be in a hotel 100x nicer and more modern. I can go to Ottawa and pay less and also get fresh updated hotel and room. It appears the owners just want to sit on this cash cow and not put anything into renovations, improvements, or modernization. It's all clean, and the staff were all amazing and kind, friendly and professional, attentive and helpful, just the hotel is quite dated and needs a major full-scale reno...New floors, new walls, new lights, new beds, new tv's, new showers. It's premium end of the Holiday Inn brand, and I've stayed at better Holiday Inn Expresses.
