  Great view but for 400$ hot food is not included in the contenatial breakfast....and you still have to pay parking(discount) for 400$ that should be included. These big hotel chains need to stop nickle and diming there customers not impressed at all will avoid this chain in future stays

  The staff was nice and accommodating. It was very very busy though and they couldn't give me an extra night there which is fine. The front desk people actually let me say a a couple hours extra after checkout which was great. It says free breakfast is included but it was not free. It was very not free. Other than that it was good

  ‼️⛔️ Do not stay at this hotel. This hotel has terrible staff and service. The hotel made an administrative error. Despite my (multiple e-mails) proof that I had a room reserved for 2 nights, they automatically checked me out from my room. My daughters and I tried to enter the room unknowingly, and couldn’t access our things. I was told I was checked and leaving. I had no communication from the hotel that I was supposed to leave after 1 night. The girl Alisha, at the desk was checking in people travelling alone in front of me while telling me I had to leave. My daughters were beside themselves not understanding why we being told to leave. We were travelling with other families and it was extremely embarrassing and we weren’t able to enjoy the trip anymore. I spent 3 hours on the phone with IHG, multiple times the phone line cut, no one called me back despite me having provided my phone number. The manager Kristine Gomez has no common sense on how to direct a situation. She and Alisha were heartless and cold. They are under qualified to be taking care of guests. I was appalled by the entire experience except for one woman named Molly. She works at the hotel restaurant and she took care of my girls, getting them crayons and colouring and water while I managed the situation. She is an angel is way too good for such a horrible work place.

  We had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront for on-site team meetings—great on all levels. The guest room was spacious, clean, and very well appointed, with a super comfortable bed and plenty of outlets for laptops and devices. I especially loved the fully walk-out balcony with stunning waterfront views—it was a real highlight. Free Wi‑Fi was strong and reliable throughout the hotel, with only one quick login required. Our meetings were held in the Islandview Ballroom, which was absolutely fantastic—filled with natural light and offering beautiful views of the water. Breakfast and lunch were catered and both were outstanding: generous portions, great variety, and fresh, delicious food. A special shout-out to Rory, our Sales Manager, and Katie, our Catering Manager. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible, even with multiple last‑minute changes and requests. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. Most importantly, the entire team had a great experience—including my boss! We would happily return for our next team event.

  Cheryl was amazing at the breakfast buffet - attentive, funny, and friendly, she made my morning. Room 427 was lovely, the waterfront patio was amazing! The fog horn was not, lol - but that’s the waterfront trade off and outside your control. The bed was comfy and the curtains blacked out the light from outside.
