  I recently spent a week at the Kingston Holliday Inn Waterfront while visiting friends and family. The hotel has gone through a number of updates since my last stay and it looks great. The new restaurant design and outdoor patio really take advantage of the waterfront location. The rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are bright and spacious. The staff were without exception, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Kingston.

  This hotel is clearly very old, but they are working to update it. I was not impressed with the bones of this place, the lack of pesticides and overwhelming amounts of spiders and webs. The buffet breakfast was 'meh' and the adult drinks were expensive. However, what the place lacked in some areas was made up in hospitality, especially for my dog. I LOVE how pet friendly this hotel is and it's the only reason I gave five stars.

  I just recently got a very critical and expensive eye restoration surgery (that was not covered by my health insurance) and I was taking a stroll in my Honda CRV around the Kingston waterfront looking for fine dining and a great night stay, I rode past the gate of the Holiday Inn and was very impressed and stopped my car over near the water and a security guard came out and harassed me with a bright blue LED strobe light. I kindly while shielding my recovering eyes asked him if I was not allowed to park here and told him I would move, instead of answering he flashed me even further and when he finally answered my question his reply was "you're drunk get out of here". Let's just say I was absolutely gobsmacked to say the least, I could not believe that this was trained security personnel someone whom I would've if not harassed trusted with my life while staying at the Holiday Inn. I am now resting at Best Western and don't believe I will return but I should just say that you shall be WARNED to stay clear of this location. Thank you. If the security guard reads this I forgive you but please it's just a shame with all that we already have going on in the world.

  Pros: Great location, good restaurant, nice staff, nice lobby area. Cons: Expensive, small rooms with tiny bathrooms, filthy balcony, very low water pressure, Cogeco cable that went out several times, not much storage for belongings, expensive parking $30 a night, no free breakfast. There wasn't any recycling bins to be found. I asked if they recycled and was told they did. I asked for a bin for our room. She said one would be sent but it never came. We found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The location is great! In the middle of the historic downtown.

  Nous avons séjourné une nuit a votre établissement de kingston. Votre porte savon est littéralement tombé dans le bain par chance personne etait dans le bain. Il n a pas casser. Puis vous nous chargez 56.25$ pour ca. Il y a rien de casser pourtant. Je trouve ca aberrant. Puis quand j appelle personne ne peut rien faire. Ps un pomme de douche fixe en 2026 est desuet .
