  We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus in the Thousand Islands! The rooms are newly renovated, modern and very clean, the pool was spotless, and the laundry facilities were also clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly extensive, with a good variety of options. A big plus: there are rental bikes right in front of the hotel, which made exploring the area really easy. A very special shout-out to Christine at the front desk! She was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely went above and beyond to help me find my prescription sunglasses, which I had accidentally left behind in the room. Without them, the rest of our vacation would have been much less comfortable. Her kindness, persistence and excellent customer service really made a difference. Thank you, Christine, and the whole team for such a great stay! We would happily come back and highly recommend this hotel.

  Les réceptionnistes sont des amours la dame du petit déjeuner très très gentille, bien insonorisé calme accueillant très très bon hôtel même avec un sauna très bon pour un séjour joyeux. Très propres. Famille Brodard, on était ici le 11 août.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Best Western 1000 Islands in Gananoque. The hotel is newly renovated, very clean, and smelled fresh throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff made sure we had everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of hot and cold items, including sausages, veggie burgers, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, pancakes, and freshly brewed coffee. The breakfast staff were very helpful, friendly, and made every morning enjoyable. The front desk staff were welcoming and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The location is also excellent—very close to the main street and within walking distance of grocery stores, Shoppers Drug Mart, and the LCBO, making our stay even more convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this newly renovated hotel to anyone visiting the Thousand Islands area. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you very much! 🙏

  We had a wonderful stay at this Best Western Plus in Gananoque and would happily stay here again. The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, providing us with useful information about the area from the moment we arrived late in the afternoon. The location is excellent—close to the highway, restaurants, grocery stores like Metro and No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, and just a short drive from downtown Gananoque and the Thousand Islands attractions. Our room on the third floor was spacious with a high ceiling, making it feel even more open and comfortable. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of hot and cold options. We especially enjoyed the automatic pancake machine—just press a button and it makes fresh pancakes for you! The breakfast lady was also very kind and checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which made us feel genuinely welcome. Another nice touch was the self-serve beverage station near the elevator, available 24/7. It offered a great selection of coffee and specialty drinks, including espresso, mocha, and French vanilla, along with a convenient water bottle refill station in the lobby. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. It is clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and staffed by people who truly care about their guests. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Gananoque and Thousand Islands area and will definitely be returning
