  We had a lovely stay at Best Western Plus 1000 Islands Hotel & Suites. The hotel was clean, and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee from the coffee machine. A special thank you to Johann at the front desk! When we arrived late in the evening, he greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in and proactively offered to help with check-in. The following evening, our room lost power while we were using the microwave and hair dryer together. He came up to investigate and kept working on the issue until the power was restored. We really appreciated his friendly, attentive and helpful service. Thank you, Johann, for making our stay so welcoming!

  Easy access off of the 401. Staff were lovely. Rooms were spacious, clean with fluffy towels, nice toiletries, comfy beds and plush pillows. Breakfast was excellent with fresh, hot and cold selections.

  “The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was fine. However, the room itself was extremely dusty, and the bathroom needed much better cleaning. There was heavy limescale on the faucet and shower, and the sink was clogged with rice left by previous guests. This was very unpleasant and definitely affected the overall experience.”

  I had a lovely stay for the last few days here I was met by absolutely wonderful staff. The conditions of the room and hotel were perfectly clean and well kept. I want to highlight the breakfast not for the food but for the staff. There was a lovely girl named Morgan working the mornings I was there. She was an absolute sweet heart with all the guests. You could tell she was genuine with all of her interactions. After working in hospitality and service industry for years. It’s a nice change to be met with such genuine caring staff. I think one of the biggest highlights for this hotel as someone who was travelling for business was the 24/7 coffee stations with decaf options. It made my stay absolutely cozy.

  Rooms were decent, bathroom could have been cleaner though-had shoe prints after opening the room. Beds comfortable, sheets clean and fresh. Service very nice, they helped us cancel last night of our stay without any issues. Lady at the reception was exceptionally kind. Breakfast however kinda ruined the experience - paper plates and plastic cutlery. Very poor choice - eggs, sausages (questionable quality), hashbrowns (not really, it was overcooked potatoes), baked beans and some veg burger pieces. No veg, fruit or anything fresh in sight. Coffee bad, no alternative milk choices. Sauna and pool both need a good clean up to be usable; they look like they are in your backyard rather than a hotel.
