  We have stayed 3 times within the last year. The property is fantastic with a Hops and Barley restaurant/bar in the basement, service and food are great, the bartenders are engaging and fun to converse with. The beds and pillows are very comfortable too. Our stays were because I had medical treatments in town, the location is close off the highway while in town too with multiple restaurants and a Shoppers drug mart very close. I had asked for an early checkin Monday, I thought our arrival was 1pm, turns out we were very early, at 11 am, GUESS WHAT?? They had our room ready!!! My appt was at 5pm. Its a great property and OH, I see they allows pet(s) So thank you to the staff for accommodating an early check in. Many thanks Don & Nicole Edmondson

  Friendly and welcoming service. They gave us a little treat bag for our pup which we really appreciate. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. However the room smelled of damp. We had to leave the window open to get some fresh air. We noticed the smell clinged to our clothing when we left. I brought it up to front desk which said they will advise their team.

  Lovely stay! From the jet tub in the room, to the pool open till 10pm, me and my girls had a fabulos time! The staff make it the best though. Front desk team made my ladies feel welcome. Housekeeping staff were lovely! We will be back!

  Just spent the night in this lovely hotel. Much thanks to Theresa for finding us a ground floor room as we were very tired and cramped after our long drive. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and ours even had a fireplace!! This may be our new go to location for when we travel. The breakfast in the Hops and Barley was fantastic. Staff was very attentive. 5 plus stars!!

  This is an amazing place to stay. The décor has a charming old-world character that feels like it belongs to another century, yet it is beautifully maintained and full of personality. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a welcome package at check-in that included two bottles of water and some snacks—a thoughtful touch that made me feel appreciated as a guest. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, and I honestly can’t believe it’s only rated as a three-star property. It offers outstanding value, excellent service, and a memorable experience. I would definitely stay here again.
