  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brockville during our daughter’s dance competition and had a great experience. We rented the suite with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch, which was perfect for our family of 5. The room was clean, spacious, and included 2 TVs, a mini fridge, sink, and microwave — everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus. Nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed: premade egg sandwiches, juices, fruit, waffles, toast, yogurt, etc. It worked well for us. I spoke with 2 staff members during our stay. One older lady was incredibly kind and polite, even asking my daughter how she did in the competition, which was very thoughtful. Another younger lady working during breakfast was also very friendly and spoke French, which was appreciated. Both made us feel very welcome. The pool area was great too — lots of towels available and surprisingly long hours from 6am to 10pm. No hot tub, but that was completely fine for us. Overall, our 2-night stay was excellent. The hotel is also conveniently located close to many restaurants. If we visit Brockville again in the future, we would definitely stay here again.

  Came up for my grandmother's funeral and booked here for the relaxation, amenities, breakfast, and security. Was not disappointed! The room was gorgeous, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was simple, and although I missed the eggs as an option, the breakfast sandwiches were a nice touch and so was the pancake machine. Staff were very friendly with the minimal interaction I had. And the amenities were lovely, with the pool and gym being well cared for. 10 out of 10 will be staying here again! Good job Brockville!

  Lovely hotel and staff! Very clean, and everyone is friendly. Stella and Kyra have been very helpful. Definitely recommend!

  Lovely staff, Trish and Stella are amazing! The rooms are very clean and the breakfast was great. Can’t wait until the renovations are done!

  You know how most hotel room doors are very heavy and they will just shut right behind you after you let go of the door? My specific door in this room did not close like that. I realized this when I checked in. I thought I had closed my door, but it just was shy of an inch to be actually closed. The next day, I came back to my hotel in the afternoon, and not only was my key not working, my door was left open... (from the cleaners)? This is quite literally my biggest fear when staying at hotels as a solo traveller. I pushed on my door, and it opened..... while I was out for the entire day. Luckily, all of my belongings were untouched. Again, the door 'appeared' to be closed, so I got lucky with there being no theft or safety issue. However, it is absolutely the cleaners responsibility to make sure they close the door behind them, and not rely on the heaviness of the door to close for them! They are renovating the lobby so that means you should be in for a beautiful upgrade very soon! The rooms are decently clean. The bathroom shower head was really outdated, should be replaced. The bathroom caulking was worn / old, but other than that, the room seemed clean.
