- AAAdelynn1 day ago4.0The staff are really nice and helpful here and make the stay worth while. The rooms are clean and spacious although a bit dim lit and lack of charging ports near the bed. The location is close enough to the Oakland Airport but a little bit of a dead zone with BART by passing the neighborhood making stops in Fruitvale and Lake Merritt. There is a Brooklyn Basin bike and walking trail, which is good for about a quarter mile before you run into tents and or construction, but a beautiful morning walk. Also Parking is $17 and not included with the room. I have never been to a hotel that charged for parking in their lot. I’m not sure if others in the area do, but a great thing to factor in the price.
